NYSC is rubbish and waste. Imagine a corper (an Engineer or accountant or architect) teaching nursery class A for apple B for Ball, some to primary school, some to villages where there is no gsm network... And you call that 1 year productive? Mehn, its a complete waste... Kebbi state where I serve

It has been in existence for long...I noticed it in minna when I served in Niger state 5 years ago.but some female corpers too are very silly.dey lost dia sense cos of wat moves dem which us money

I don't know but I feel it's the other way round. Most governors in the states use their locals to get to corpers.

For instance, serving in Kogi state..they made sure it was the locals beautiful girls that hung around us, helped us around town etc. Those gals hung around us so much most corpers started falling for them...but not me

Talking of corpers,prostitution etc....Most female corpers involved in this game come with the intention and starting from camp are already flirting around with military men and Nysc officials to lobby their posting to those places.Some female corp members return home with Cars after their service year as a resultof the lucrative nature of the Alhaji trade in the North.It is not a forceful mission.While i ws on camp an Nysc official tried enticing me this offers and i told him I wouldnt sleep with An Nysc official just for posting Since Money can influence it.some babes come prepared to trade.

if you are really a graduate, then you are parr of the evidence that the Nigerian educational system has failed. a graduate wouldn't come up to a forum like this to call anyone a dog especially when the person in question didnt insult him. what a shame. I wouldn't identify with your class.

This happens in every stage not just Niger.. Up north and down south NYSC should be scrapped.

As an official, this is worrisome. This NYSC of a thing expose girls for real prostitution. i have witness it live. our hands are tied. I pray govt should

do something fast. I shed tears as i see them in many organizations.

It happens in all of the states. Its a huge shame on d system. I served in Kogi, and I noticed the same thing right in d Orientation camp! Another form of recruitment. Most of this girls turn out 2b RAcketeers while they were in school.

NYSC should be reviewed seriously..... It is really Important nd serving its purpose
