well done for the great work you guys are doing
here, i have been enlightened alot. just have a
question, what are the disadvantages (if any), in
using trailer batteries, 150 or 200ah, instead of
the regular inverter batteries. i am about to set up
my sukam pure sine wave 2.4kva inverter,
someone familiar with inverters says trailer
batteries are good but may not last long, he even
uses one, i saw it with my eyes. thanks for your
quick reply.

In reality, Trailer Batteries can be used but can never give the Run-time a DEEP CYCLE batt would.
Trailer batts are built for Large (Engine Cranking) Ampere, while Deep Cycle ones are for lower Ampere Continuous Duty Service, ideal for Inverter/Solar setup.
To get the best from your Inverter System, use Valve Regulated Deep cycle Batteries like FullRiver, Zenith or other good ones.

Please, I need help. I mistakenly connect my power inverter to the wrong terminal of my battery and there was a spark sound from the inverter followed by burnt smell. What could have gone wrong and how can I fix it myself. thanks for your response

Hi, please anyone using blue gate inverter? I just got a bluegate 2kva pure sine wave inverter and I noticed after like 20 minutes of charging the inbuilt fan starts up with a loud noise and stops like in 2 seconds . This then continues every 20-30 secs. I do not know if this is the normal way the bg inverter works. Technician that fixed it is not sure too but seller said dats how it works. Please help .

Call or email us for all your problems about inverter, solar and others. Don't call road side technician to handle your inverter, you will end up regretting it.

How long did those batteries last? your batteries should last atleast more than 4 years if you have a good inverter.

Good day Sunny, I have two mono crystalline solar panels which I salvaged. The power ratings are 24volts and 80wts each. I normally use it to charge mobile phones during the day via a re-modified dual usb car charger adapter. I desire to use it for more other purposes as well as storage and inverter applications. Kindly guide me on what other uses I could put the two panels to, what batteries I need and other things.

Dear sunny... I recently bought a nexus 2.5 KVA inverter and it showed overload trip on the monitor after two weeks. My load is just 10%. Please what could be the problem...

I ve removed all load n it's still showing overload...
I ve also turn it off and on several occasions. Can u tell me what to do to get it functional.

Is it advisable to charge with Generator set cos I noticed my batteries developing bulge..

PC Maintenance Techniques
To keep your computer running smoothly, it's important to keep files and folders uncluttered.

Cluttered or unorganized folders make it more difficult to find the files you need.

Additionally, unwanted files can eventually fill up your hard drive, which will make your computer slower and more difficult to use. Here are a few things you can do to delete unwanted files and improve your computer's performance.

200ah x 12v = 2400w, factroing in 80% efficiency = 2kw divided by 175w {130+30+15] = 12hrs....till the batt is dead, usually the inverter will cut off if the voltage gets below 10.5v, thus this usually happens at 75% batt life = .75 x 12 = 9hrs [ for a good new battery, but could be as low as 3hrs for a 3yr old batt]

pls calculation is not specific give yourself allowance u can never get 100% from a battery also the more u discharge(if u discharge ya battery more than 50% of its capacity u seriously degrade its ability) and recharge ya battery the lower ya battery ability and capacity becomes
I assume the battery is 12volts(u didnt indicate)the max power u cant get from the battery is 12 multiplied by 200ah (2.4kamps or 2400walts) yur fan and bulb consume 45walts(u did not state ya tv watt I will just assume 140w) so 2400 divided by 185 = 12.9 (remember this rough calculation there r different factors e.g internal resistance of battery ie the higher load connected to d battery d more power is lost (Peukert effect) also power loss/leakage during inverter conversion from 12v to 220volt etc, even the fomula power or watts = volts X current is an over simplified fomula) BEWARE if u ever connect all 3 loads to ya battery for even 9 hours not to talk about 12.9 hours u will have destroyed that battery(this is a topic 4 another day as I briefly mention above never drain ya battery more than 50%) so to preserve ya investment after 6hours disconnect all equipments and recharge ya battery
my advice is buy at 4 batteries connect two of them in series then connect the two series in parallel with each other, this combination will give u one 24v 400ah battery which gives u many advantages(story 4 another day) I will only mention 1 which is you will be able to use ya tv, fan, lights for 12hours 7pm to 7am without any fear of destroying ya battery(u can now recharge ya batteries with ya 2.4kw solar panel set up from 7am to 7pm) ie if u r using solar if not you have 2 wait 4 nepa(and this brings up some issues becos u will need to have an intelligent inverter/charger which can fast charge d batteries without destroying them)

Chargers generate heat. In the inverters we install for our customers the fans come on when they are charging batteries. The higher the amps put in the more heat generated and the more frequently a cooling fan will run.

Dear sir,
I had bought tripp lite inverter 2000 watt and 2 battery of 120 amp(120*2=240 amp) , every thing is working fine unless the usage time and charge time

Charge time take about 7 hours to fully charged with inverter current of 15 Amp per hour, this sound strange for me as it should take 16 hours not 7 hours(240÷15=16) why it take less?

Usage time for only samsung refrigeditor of rated 150 watt give me only 3.5 hours, is this normal?

Could you please assist me at both issues, is there any wrong as i use voltmeter to test my both battery and it give me these reads:
14.7v at last stage of charge starting from12v
Then decreased to 13.7v when it is fully charged

Please help
