Thanks. So, Keshi should call him to the National team.
thankfully, Okocha and Amodu have also gotten mandates in team selection for the SE before Keshi ruins the team with mediocre players. So prettyboy could get his chance

Siasia: I Got Married In 1988, Not 1985.

Samson Siasia has set the record straight concerning his recent wedding anniversary.
The Nigeria U-23s coach was supposed to be celebrating his 30th anniversary to wife Cassandra last week and this raised a few eyebrows since he is only 47 years old.
But the for Super Eagles star has used the Nigeria Football Federation to correct what he claims is the wrong impression, although the anniversary cake he is pictured cutting clearly reads ’30th anniversary’.
According to Siasia, he actually celebrated his 27th marriage anniversary and not 30th as has been reported in the media, as he got married at the age of 20 in 1988.
Noting that the marriage anniversary party was not organized by him or his family but by his friends and back-room staff of the U-23 National Team, Siasia said he had notified the organisers that day of the error when he saw the cake.
While thanking Nigerians for all their support during his playing days and now as a coach, Siasia said he will never do anything to tarnish the image of the country in any way.

Iroha: Siasia’s Boys Must Beat Congo.
Former Super Eagles defender, Ben Iroha, believes victory in the first leg of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games qualifier for Nigeria’s U-23 team against Congo is very crucial in the team’s aspiration to qualify for the Games holding in Brazil.
Iroha who also was a former Super Eagles and U-23 team assistant coach, declared that coach Samson Siasia and his wards should ensure they get a decent result in the first leg by ensuring a thorough preparation.
“At this stage, every single match is very important and difficult at the same time,” Iroha, who assisted late coach Yemi Tella win the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Korea, said.
“We know that any country playing against Nigeria always tighten their belts and we cannot expect anything less from Congo.
“So I believe the way to go is for the team to ensure they prepare adequately, expect the worst from Congo even though the first leg match is coming up in Nigeria.”
He explained that apart from on the pitch training, Siasia should look for the Congolese match video tapes to watch, in order to really know the make-up of their team and playing style.
“At this point you don’t leave anything to chance, you prepare well on the pitch, sneak into opponents “bed room” to know how and when he sleeps and when,” he added.
“Siasia is hugely experienced and has gone through this route before, so he needs to get his lieutenants to rally round to get information about his opponents. The fact Congo edged out Ghana underscores their strength and we should not take them for granted. They are always full of antics and should be taken very seriously because the Brazil 2016 Olympic Games ticket is very important.”

Gosh. I never expected Siasia to drop Tonbara. He is one of the few players in the dream team with exceptional skills and speed to take on players down the right flank.

Wish Tonbara a good career.

adeyemi2015:
Awoniyi, Iheanacho & six Flying Eagles players handed U23 team call-ups

Coach Samson Siasia has invited eight members of the Flying Eagles to the Dream Team camp ahead of next month’s game against Congo

Nigeria U23 handler Samson Siasia has invited eight members from Manu Garba’s Flying Eagles to the Dream Team V1 squad ahead of July’s Africa U23 Championship.
Congo will attempt to stop the Nigerians from qualifying from the competition which serves as qualifier for the football event of the Rio 2016 Olympics.

Topping the list is Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho who enjoyed a little playing time at the 2015 Fifa U20 World Cup in New Zealand.

Others are captain Musa Muhammed, Taiwo Awoniyi Kingsley Sokari, Saviour Godwin, Dele Alampasu, Musa Yahaya and Moses Simon.

The are expected to resume training on Monday while the foreign based players [Iheanacho, Simon, Yahaya] will report two weeks to the first leg scheduled for Abuja.

Meanwhile Siasia has dropped seven players from his team after their 3-3 draw against Wikki Tourists because they have not added value to his squad.

"I have given all these players enough time to showcase what they can bring on the table, but I am so disappointed that till this minute they still have not been able to convince me, so they have to give way for others to come and show me and my technical crew what they can offer,” Siaone said.

“I thank them for their contribution to the success of the team in the past, but we have to move on, if they show signs of improvement in their clubs they can be recalled back to the team."

The affected players are Sani Faisal, Lukmon Gilmore, Emmanuel Ammana, Tonbara Tiongoli, Freedom Omofonma, Uche Okeke and Gabriel Sunday.

Even after the U20 Coaches partially snubbed the guy, he is still enjoying the fame for his outstanding performance with the City's EDS...... How I wish you could translate this performance to the Dream Team, KC.

Iheanacho Wins Man City’s EDS Goal Of The Season.

Kelechi Iheanacho’s first goal in Manchester City’s 3 – 1 win over Manchester United has been voted the best goal scored by an academy player last season by the official website of Manchester City.
Manchester City have posted on their official website the top ten eye – catching goals scored by the Elite Development Squad during the 2014 – 2015 season.
And in number one position is Nigeria youth international Iheanacho, who netted in the 55th minute in the game staged at the Academy Stadium on May 23.
The 18 – year – old expertly turned his man in the center before slotting into the bottom corner. It was a goal of technique, skill and composure, mcfc.co.uk said.
Iheanacho failed to take that form to the Under 20 World Cup, having fired blanks in the two matches he featured in during the tournament in New Zealand.

Nice siasia didnt invite success Isaac... But I am surprised why he invited Simon moses... There is no point inviting him when you can't use him... I dont think it also makes sense inviting Nacho and yahaya.

Both the AAG and Olympic are not in the FIFA calendar thus Clubs are not obligated to release their players for these competitions.. If nacho is promoted to the first team of Mancity next season, then its a no no.
Same for yahaya... Getting them releassd ganna be a huge fight and for simon moses- No hope EXCEPT.....
Hmm

To me I just felt the Coaches should have given him more playing time in a more familiar role. Besides, why should a promising player like KC be made to look so ordinary in a squad like that of the FE? Remember he is a special talent, that made him get a work permit in England.

City Angered by Iheanacho Treatment.
Manchester City are demanding assurances from Nigeria that Kelechi Iheanacho will play after he was called up to their Under-23 squad.
City officials were stunned by the 18-year-old's lack of playing time at the Fifa Under-20 World Cup in New Zealand this month and have asked for a "technical report" from the Nigerian Football Federation in their quest for answers.
The club's scouting and recruitment operations manager Fergal Harkin demanded a technical report from the NFF after Iheanacho saw only a total of 83 minutes of action during the tournament, while fellow City youngster Chidiebere Nwakali got just 10 minutes against Germany as the Flying Eagles crashed out at the second round stage.
There are fears in Nigeria that the relationship between the NFF and the club is turning frosty, with City stopping Iheanacho and Nwakali from taking part in the African Youth Championship in Senegal earlier this year.
Iheanacho, who was the MVP of the 2013 U17 World Cup, has now been named in Manu Garba's squad for the African Under-23 Championships in July, which act as a qualifier for the Rio 2016 Olympics.

Mancity make una comot for road make I see well!
Did we sign any prior agreement to feature Iheanacho in all Flying Eagles matches at all cost?
When did players' Clubs' Coaches start having a say on how their players are featured on international assignments?
If it were so then we also would have questioned or rather queried Chelsea FC Coaches for not featuring John Mikel Obi and others even when they had known that these players where World Cup bound.

I do not see a reason to contest for Mr. Nairaland, and at the same time I am not in position nor have any right to condemn, criticize those who are aspiring for it.
Everyone is entitled to his or her personal aspiration(s).
BTW; Man City has no right to question the decision of the Nigerian Coaches or the Football Governing Body. It's very ridiculous of them, issuing a query; what are they trying to insinuate? That they own the Player? If we did not play him at the U17, would they have scouted and signed him? That's rubbish!
However it's a welcome development that Siasia believes in some of the Players potentials. If they are well managed along with the present Squad, I'm seeing no reason the Congolese wouldn't regret winning against the Ghana U23 Team!

Actually I agree with Man City they sent 2 players who received a total of 90 minutes i feel they are just defending their players. its what a parent would do, prior to the tournament we bashed them for not sending Iheanacho then wen they do this happens. I am so happy they are questioning the NFF cuz i know to reassure them the NFF will offer a Super Eagle cap to Iheanacho.

Man City has every right to question what went wrong. The coaches believes they have one of the gems of football who can bring in Messi numbers when it comes to goal. Such a player like Nacho got to play few minutes. They must enquire what went wrong.

If not, it shows the club does not care for their players.

It is disappointing that the top figures of Udinesse and the agent of Isaac Success did not accept the 5 million euros bid for Isaac Success from Inter Milan.

That offer is good for Success because he is still raw and will need a lot of developmental work to turn him into a World Class Superstar. Going to Inter Milan will give Success a chance to work with Roberto Mancini who trained some of the best strikers in the game of football.

Mancini groomed Martins Obafemi into one of the fiercest attackers in the Serie A. He signed a highly talented Adriano and turned him into the deadliest attacker in the game. He brought in a young Balotelli into the Inter Milan squad and turned him into a star.

Mancini was the one who converted Aguero into a point man after he signed him from Atletico Madrid. Mancini's current work on the promising Italian attacker, Mario Icardi is clear for all to see.

I hope the top figures of Udinesse and Success' Manager and Agent considers the young man's career first.
