Most of these pictures were taken during numerous training exercise.

Yes, Oga LeOstrich, the SI of the SF is the Tavor presently but they are to be replaced by the Beryl ASAP. You'd agree that is a more suitable weapon.

The picture of the sniper got me pulling my hair too. If there was a hostile behind the door, that's one definite casualty.

God Bless the Nigeria Military.

You don't use Bullpups assault rifles in field combat

The IWI Tavor SAR being carried by the Nigerian Naval team is best used in small confined spaces and not in open field.

The German Soldier is operating with the right field range weapon.

No wonder Boko is kicking their azzes

dats incorrect. The essence of the bullup in d first place apart from manueverability is to provide quick reaction which is the ideal for special forces. If the rifle carried by the german has a foldable stock den it bcomes a bullup. The Tavor is nw being adopted as Israel's basic assault rifle confined spaces or not. India and China are doin same with their models.

The soldier is helping his colleagues with sweeping.
And that's normal don't say things you lack knowledge on

Helping with sweeping means staying afar and gunning targets walking up from behind the main guys doing the sweeping

dont u think it might not really be a real sweep-search. Just a photoshoot or maybe he's looking for a spot to take a dump...cheesy cheesy

Israeli Tavor is more of a of a personal arm than an assault weapon. It is slightly better than a pistol. Look at distance between trigger and gunsight which is an estimate of range. EKR of Tavor cannot match that of AK 47 or FN currently in use by Nigerian forces. The gun just fine for eye. Good only for internal oppressions rather than tactical objectives.

There is so much wrong with your post one does not know where to begin. Please go an research properly the TAR 21.

Are they the only national army laying down their lives?
How many wars have they even fought in sef?
Can you compare their combact experience and professionalism to the egyptians, algerians or even the ethiopians?
Guy, your incompetent army is weak, highly indisciplined and a disgrace to armies.

There are too many things wrong in the pictures. From inappropriate combat gear, choice of rifle, no head gears, to mention a few.

But let me just keep mute.

The personnel with sniper rifle shouldn't be at that location. But I guess it was all photo ops.

\
thats because they are not regular troops but special operators ,most SF units dress the way they like and also depending on missions too .truth is we still have a long way to go as regards kitting

Its sad when you find some logistical and operational errors in these photos and you are like, maybe they think viewers are naive or their commanders really lack training themselves. How can a sniper riffle be used in this case and he is the point man not the assist or cover? Then I remember you have soldiers at the front from pics we have seen with no bulletproof and in some cases where they manage to wear shortgun resistant in a front that requires riffle resistant and then no headgear and am like, what the hell is wrong with these guys? How can you send a soldier to the front with just riffles and no shortguns as backup, except for special forces I saw bearing a pistol. I can tell they are always proud with riffles but what is the flexibility to fire at random targets at close range? Yes we agree AK has least chance of jamming compared to those new guns of special forces in a sandy desert but it sure does and when it happens what becomes of a man who risks his life to keep me safe?
These guys needs to know what pictures they release to us sometimes, its not funny looking at such little things even a police on patrol or responding to an incident in low countries like Mauritius (not to mention better countries) wouldnt be seen doing

the FN FAL has the range but it disappoints ,while Ak 47 is good but needs to be modified in my opinion with an improved polymer butt stock ,pistol grip and rails to add targeting scope to improve shooting accuracy.the fact that other armies are fast adoptin the tarvor shows it may be impressive.

The bolded is logical and I think the Nigerian Army should take note. Imagine being shot at by a BH and you have a jammed long rifle without any pistol that would have made a transition process possible. Depending on just one rifle isn't safe enough atleast for the safety of the soldiers.

Always ask for evidence. Are U blind?
Look at how fat their officers are. Evidence of idle lifestyles. To you is that discipline?
when they siphon money meant to buy weapons and supply substandard equipment do you call that discipline
Look at their barracks, glorified slums. Do you call people who live in such squalor disciplined?
Lets talk of their attitude. People who are brash, rude, uncouth lack decorum. Maybe that defines discipline to you.

And please laying down their life for country is part of their job description. A warrior should embrace the concept of dying
for the good of his country. Any soldier who is afraid of death has no business wearing a uniform
