LeOstrich: Original mumu nah him u be, the Tavor SAR thou short is a bullpup design, it still has a full lenght assault carbine 15inch barel firing the NATO 5.56 round and an operating range of 500m just like the M4A1 used by the USMC. It is a field assault rifle. There is the added advantage of it being SMG size and CQB ready . The British SA 80 riffles are of same design and work fine 3 Likes |

IbnSultaan: and you sweep with a sniper rifle? do u knw what a sniper rifle is meant for? its meant to be used to take out special targets and takes time to select and take out a target.. imagine a boko member in dt house, he wudda shot him before he can shoot. stop bragging in ur ignorance 2 Likes 1 Share |

LeOstrich: You beat me to it.. The Sniper rifle is too big, carries a high recoil, can't be maneuvered easily, can't be accurately fired from a standing position in a jiffy, is a semi-automatic meaning it's too slow to reload and requires a lot more strength to use in a door to door search.. He should have a pistol or even An M16 or an AK (both of which are still not appropriate CQC weapons) for that.. 2 Likes 1 Share |

@Leaostrich, you this shit quite well. I am impressed with your knowledge. That was the first thing I saw, carrying a sniper rifle while clearing a house. That sniper soldier would be dead in few minutes. LeOstrich: 1 Like 1 Share |

IbnSultaan: The Dragunov Sinper rifle is not a weapon for sweeping nor Close Quarter Combat. That is his point. In the situation painted in that picture, the Soldier is in the right place doing the right thing with the wrong fire arm. 2 Likes 1 Share |

loomer: That's why Nigeria would remain stagnant. You dolts prefer to arrogantly revel in ignorance and mediocrity than to admit your lack of knowledge and accept correction. Ignorance mixed with heavy concentrations of arrogance that's most Nigerians for you. It is ridiculous. Someone who knows what he is talking about is making well-informed and valid observations and all you monkeys can do is let your foolish egos shine through. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Re: Special Forces Units And Operators Of The Nigerian Armed Forces by Okijajuju1(m): 9:24am On Jun 30, 2015 |
GeneralShepherd: That second soldier is secondary and not in the entry position to fire.. The guy breaching the door is the first target.. If this is a training exercise then the trainers made a huge error here. Plus I would expect all our Sinpers to have a secondary weapon on them like a 9mm Pistol. 1 Like |

InvertedHammer: If you tell them, they would scornfully accuse you of watching too many movies or playing too much video games, or worst of all, they would say that you are "claiming I too know". Very pathetic and ignorant monkeys who prefer to be starved to death by their ignorance than to eat the humble pie of knowledge. 4 Likes 1 Share |

abeniagbon: Do you know why the easiest Police officers to kill are the ones sitting inside the Hilux? Answer; Their weapon (the AK 47) is not for close quarter combat.. Have you ever wondered why the SSS guys on the Presidential detail don't carry AK47s? Because if that convoy meets a resistance on the road, an AK47 is useless to an SSS operative sitting inside the car. When you breach a building, you don't use long weapons like the AK47 or even worse the Dragunov sniper rifle that soldier is carrying. When you are sitting inside a vehicle, you don't use long weapons because they are not easily maneuverable. You need a short weapon that can shoot around a tight corner. This is not rocket science hommie. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Henry240: They just read some of these stuff somewhere without knowing what they're assimilating. Calling a Tavor a Personal defence weapon is error enough. Anyways the Tavor actually uses a 5.57 mm round. 2 Likes |
