Thanks OP for this beautiful side of Owerri and thanks to the other guy showing that there is still so much work to be done by the governor and the LGA Chairman. Meanwhile, can you confirm that the state/LGA collects plenty of tenement rate/land use charge for those living in the posh side  Such rates/charges would then be used to MAINTAIN the green, common space, gutters etc as well as repair and maintain other parts of the city so it is OVERALL beautiful, abi! 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Op, there is no where a plot of land is 1.5b in OWERRI especially in my locality. We have very rich men in the estate but no plot is up to 70m. There are just few empty spaces in this place just because the owners who were past Government officials during the Udenwa Era, just can't or don't want to develop it. Yes the place is the costliest estate in OWERRI but don't over blow the price before someone's house boy/ maid will be kidnapped of. 12 Likes |

Some of adjoining streets. Here you can get cheaper properties at 100million to 500 million Naira range. Star actor Osita Iheme got a plot here for 100million Naira only.
