u will get to understand its usefulness someday bro...

Ever wondered why Giants like Samsung are consistent on usage of hardware keys, even on their tabs? Simple. It's more reliable and way more flexible. On Galaxy S5 and S6, the home pad, doubles as a finger print scanner. According to a research conducted by Gsmarena, hardware keys are generally found to be less intrusive and more responsive when compared to their counterparts, software keys (oncreen keys).

I really don't see any pros of soft keys utilization, and honestly, don't see the point.

What you call lame will soon be used by all OEMs in the near future. Its an innovation that gives you more battery juice to power the things you need most on your phone. An old saying goes: "People fear/hate what they dont understand".

You that understand this so much I have seen you and that doesn't change my opinion. But anyone in his right frame of mind would agree that this "onscreen" initiative on zero 2 is crap.

The capacitive keys on zero 1 is unique and better.

Having an oncreen key feature can be quite an innovative gesture but only if the device have a big screen. All the OEMs that utilize this feature have 5.2 to 5.9 inch screen size, thus, real estate wise, it doesn't intrude on the general UI experience.

But when your device is only 5.0 inch, having an oncreen home key becomes a drag. Why? The oncreen key feature, ends up cutting out a chunky size from the precious real estate your 5.0 inch screen cannot afford to lose, thereby leaving you with only 4.9 inch or less, technically.

Bottom line: The oncreen key features on Zero 2 is a major drawback, cuz, at the end of the day, you'll find yourself using a 4.8 inch phone instead of presumed 5.0 inch.

PS: Having an oncreen key feature doesn't really affect the battery performance of Zero 2. The chipset type is kind of inferior to the qualcomm snapdragon found in high-end devices that could have made a difference.
from the youtube review i watched(iv not held the phone myself so i may be wrong) the onscreen keys are kinda transparent therefore still giving you access to your 5.0 inch screen.

You don't get it. Transparent or not, they are there nevertheless, invariably, pushing the app drawer (app tray) further up the screen. They momentarily disappear during video and camera modes, but reappear on everything else.

I stopped replying to requests lie this cos many NL believes i am an agent, but for your sake ,i charge my fone every three days,Lat time i charged was on Monday Night and still have nothing less than 70% remaig, but with basic functios like fone calls ,snapping and litle of music then Check NL and FB at times.

Am always on PC ,so i do not do most of my browsing on fones,Am not a gamer ,so i virtually dont play games with my fone.

Prolong use of the foe over WIFI drains d battery like say tomoro no dey.The ultra power mode is as advertised,i tried it n Friday with 5% remaining at about 4pm,then i activated Ultrapower mode,it took me till 8/9pm.

In all the battery iin a good one, though not as good as the Monster --- hot note

. Honest review u have there...
Hot note is a battery phone on its own
