you wish those who wish your stay at your new job good but those who wish it cancelled bad. The appointment wasn't based on merit so for those who wish it cancelled they are right in every sense. My advice to you is pray you get your apl. Cus that NIS job you are so proud of is dirty demeaning work to some people who make millions monthly in oil and gas sectors or other places.. my take on it is keep quiet and let God be the judge.

Bro/Sis what we are doing currently at the state commands is called induction and it is to last for 3 or 4 months before we are mobilised for training camp. As for appointment letters,they are ready but yet to be distributed and that is not even a big deal, we have been documented, we all have service numbers, cancellation is not even an option here, while at kano we were even privileged to see our scores, the recruitment process was "relatively" transparent and can't be easily cancelled.. God bless you.

you people are so funny,i don't think anyone wish that it should be canceled, you guys just take things easy.The news of 2015 NIS been canceled is every where but I always say I don't believe it cus if it has why isn't it in the papers? I was talking to a cousin of mine who works with NIS,the only thing he said was"even dos who just got appointment are yet to collect their APL"hmmmm it has never happened like this,thats why I feel people are saying it has been canceled.cus people who got appointment would have been in camp long ago.I pray they resolve this as soon as possible so they open others like NSCDC,prisons,custom and the rest cus the delay on NIS and it's canceled stuff all the time is beginning to annoy me.

like drkally has rightly said, it is always induction training before any camping, and besides it is only Compass 08 that is yet to collect the appointment letter, others has collected their letter since May, and 08 letters will be distributed soon

I dont pray for any cancellation @all, my prayer is that they round up everything as soon as possible and if more officer are going to be employed, they should do it on time inother to open ways for custom, civil defence, police .e.t.c . My beleive is that those that are not lucky now might also receive favour in any of this sector, though i am still hoping that if more pple will be empolyed in NIS my name will be among by Gods grace.

i don't av a degree in that area I am just trying to clear your doubt and to set the records straight if I wanted NIS thru d backdoor I could have gotten it... my father is a high ranking pdp official in my state and I chose to do the exams with the generality cus I believe in fair play... I have friends who pushed buttons and are on compass 8 now but it doesn't bode well for the country... my dear, NIS is just an opportunity, those in ekiti who know me know I am not bragging... other slots will open up soon, civil defence and the likes just learn that what you have is God's grace and not your doing.. if we are asked to compare certificate or educational exploits and world travels I can boldly say I will beat you hands down except you have a ph.d. so please as I stated earlier hold your peace. But what i don't understand is this....
Is it not the President that appointed the Perm Sec to carry out such functions pending when the Minister will be appointed?.
So, why is the Board circumventing from the Perm Sec and write straight to the President ?
