I'm not surprised the Northern Agenda is playing out right before our eyes APChites have nothing to say about 450 Deaths in 45 Days while Buhari does nothing but take photo ops here and there and give himself a car worth 400 million ngn and then reject what he gave himself to the the delight of gullible goats. Just yesterday another bomb blast at a church in Jos and they are still celebrating nonsensical news. God help us cry

I don't know him and I wish to know him and since " No Two Eyes See The same World" I will want to see him in my own view and not the view of one "Columnist" whose reason for writing I may truly not know. I have chosen to approach Mr Buhari's every action and inactions with "Tabular Rasa" and "Sabali" Change means a break from the "Norm" so I should put aside my knowledge of "How it is/was Done" to " How it should be Done" Am not planning to die yet so I can wait to see what the Man has got for me and my peoples.

For all many care about the security chiefs appointed by Buhari - let them drive away Boko Haram finally from Nigeria without any more delay.

Nigeria cannot afford to continue to spend oil money it should have used to provide infrastructure on fighting Boko Haram. Boko Haram was inadvertently (some believe overtly) cultivated by some norther Muslim politicians as they adopted use of sharia criminal laws. Boko Haram has always maintained that it is fighting for a country friendly with use of sharia criminal laws.

Well with Boko Haram ravaging his backyard in Monguno, he has no option but to seat up and protect them. Its now a case of 'these are your brothers .....go fish and smoke them out' don't wait for other tribe or religion to do it for you.

Thats the way I see it with the appointments by PMB. Though it looked as though he was biased with more appointments from the North, its pertinent to note that, Nigeria is currently at war and would have been the best Chief of Army Staff than one directly involved at the battlefront ....an Abuja Seat-tight General? Hell NO! Would you prefer a South Eastern as Army Chief in a war being fought in the North? Hell NO!

So why don't we allow the North sort themselves out? I do not see the military bombarding the South East, South West or South South if the people in those regions behave themselves grin

I am Yoruba but most times one wonders about the level of deep ethnic bigotry among Nigerians, and especially against our people from the North since President Buhari was elected, largely from TANoids, PDP e-pigs and e-rats, Fani-Kayode e-rats, young children of hate who never knew or witnessed Nigeria's intricate history, and their ilk!

Most commentators side-stepped the fact that this 'Northern/Borno state General' attended the well-recognized and famous King's College (KC) Lagos and had a PhD in Architecture from a UK University. If he was from the South, most hypocrites who had commented on this post would have hailed him to the heavens as having received 'solid education' from KC and the UK!

As far as one is concerned, there are brilliant, intelligent, resourceful, competent, self-motivated professionals among ALL the 250 ethnic groups in Nigeria and when Yorubas, Igbos, and Hausas engage in dirty fights online (mostly orchestrated by politicians who do not even know us or care about us as they are largely friends across parties and only cry ethnicity when their bread was not buttered), the 'tripod' tribes (Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo) should know that there are other 247 ethnic groups in Nigeria, including Tiv, Idoma, Bassange, Baruba, Nupe, Ebira, Jukun, Kalangu, Efik, Ibibio, Bini, Angas, Birom, Kaje, etc, etc who are also stakeholders...

The service chiefs GEJ appointed only shared security budgets with him in 5 years and grew fat stomachs. Gen Mongunu is not a tyrant as presented in this foolish article. I once worked with him at Guards Brigade Abuja,he was the one who introduced a special pay package for officers n soldiers in Abuja who worked tirelessly for security within the FCT. He turned the entire Brigade into a "no nonsense" corps. In fact his tenure as d brigade commander changed the face of security in the FCT. You can ask any soldier serving in ABUJA to confirm this. His tenure remains d best till date.

Guy don't mind that yam head. I lived in mambilla barracks and am aware of the happenings in the barracks. Is he not the one that introduced the allowance soldiers call "monguno"? Which soldiers are still benefitting today. Barcanista knows nothing and would always say things to discredit the government. His headache though.
