Dressing in such a way as to stimulate impure thoughts or desires in others is as wrong as the lust it provokes. No activity or circumstance justifies the wearing of immodest attire that would expose the body in such a way as to stimulate lust in someone else. (Gal 5:13, Eph 4:27, Titus 2:11-12).

The fashion industry designs some clothing deliberately to accentuate the body sensually and sexually. It is sad that church has ignores the biblical standard for modesty dress and embraces the fashion fads of the world even though they are sensually designed.

The CHURCH (Christians) should act and dress differently from a corrupt society that throws aside and ridicules the Spirit's desire for modesty, purity and godly restraint. Rom 12:1-2. Please share with young men and ladies and let's honour God. U re Blessed

We have always being taught that women's body will cause men to commit sin.

We were told that if women showed too much of their body it would cause men to do stupid things.

Lets be clear: A woman's body is not dangerous to you, her body will not cause you harm, it will not make you do stupid things.

If you do stupid things it is because you choose to do stupid things.

Do not blame the women for wearing what works for them and what they want rather blame the men who do stupid things because they cannot hold themselves from being stupid

It is not the woman's fault that you cannot hold yourself from acting on your raging sexual urge, it is your fault in entirety if you fail to know when restraint is necessary and how to employ proper self control.

have u come across the word ;CAUSALITY;?

Its one of the things i believe in.

Every action has a cause.

So u cant actually and wholly blame the guy cos had it been the lady didnt were seductive dresses, the urge couldnt have been there.


And a lady dressing indecently, what actually does she wants other than attraction and possibly rape?

What the use of these babblings. A seducer is not a christian and a christian is not a seducer. The christian woman should not dress sensually and a christian man should not lust after a woman. That is godliness.

Wow! You exudes so much intelligence that many male folks lack.

It's high time we started accepting our responsibilities and weakness instead of blaming women for everything. Only pained and frustrated men enveloped with chauvinism-sexism do that.
You'll never see a woman whining about men in something she has control over.

No matter how a Lady dress, she'll still be raped by perverts.

Most rape cases occur in a rural area, and go figure how village girls dress.
If a man money attracts a girl, and he ends up using her, the girl should accept the blame.

How could you put all the blame on the males when you know it's actions that triggers reactions.

So you expected a woman to dress scantily without the male folks raising eyebrows? That could only happen to men with dead testosterone and if we were configured that way, there wouldn't have been sexual attraction in the first place.

You can't possibly throw some grains of corn to a fowl and expect it to walk pass them.

For the first time your rationality shifted to the emotional side or maybe you weren't trying to be rational at all.

If you actually read my post well i believe my point was clear enough and i always do not bring my emotions into my positions of matters.

I am a man if at all my emotions should tilt on a side it should be in support of the men folks and not the women but when speaking of the injustice of societal bans one's emotions should never be in the deciding factor.

You are free to wear anything you choose to wear, which ever way people react to it is their doing not yours.

A woman's dressing in as much as it can trigger urges in a man doesn't place her the obligation of taking responsibility for man's inability to restrain himself.

We see women everyday dressed in all kinds of way same way we see men everyday dressed same. . That you cannot control the urges that surge within you is not the woman's fault.

That you choose to act on this urge and met out inhumane action of rape on the woman is entirely your fault and your doing.

A woman has the right just like you to wear what she likes and what she feels comfortable in, your reaction to it is your own doing. . . She is under no obligation to dress in a way to sate your urge that you cannot keep it in check is your doing entirely

I understand your line of reasoning perfectly, but I choose to disagree with some.

They've always been this beast in a man and it takes certain actions to unleash it.
Though some I've been able to tame it, others are still fighting it, the remaining don't even know how to control it.
Then if a semi-unclad lady walk pass those three what do you think would be their reactions?

Maybe you're assuming everyone is educated and every educated person not capable of acting crude.

A woman's dressing in as much as it can trigger urges in a man doesn't place her the obligation of taking responsibility for man's inability to restrain himself.
This is wrooooooong. If she knows that kind of dressing will trigger urges from men which in turn might threaten her safety, isn't it better for her to change into something safe?

The focus should be on her safety not her rights. The Nigerian society doesn't give a damn about rights and it's left for you to protect yourself the best way you can until the problem encroaches into your path.

It should be SAFETY before RIGHTS.
