Barca are beatable and can be stopped. No it has nothing to do with last night's match. Last year was Barca's year but the beauty of football is no two seasons are alike. Its not a coincidence that no team has defended the CL and Barca's case will not be different

It is very unlikely Barca go through a full season with the injury luck they had last season. Their bench is still insanely thin but they had no reason to ever call on it at any crucial point. Not an excuse just stating facts

We even stood a chance last year if not that Pep spent more time massaging Messi's scrotum than prepping the team to actually handle him.

They are still favorites but if one of their attacking three goes down then its trouble in paradise. Turan is good but cannot match any member of MSN either with goals or assists

Conclusions drawn from pre-season games are mostly useless. One conclusion is true though. We are going to struggle in Europe this season again.

The same problems exist. We have no midfield and this is actually all our first choice midfielders playing.

The transition of play through the middle is non-existent. Our forward play comes only through the wings and only through Hazard on the wing. Once Hazard is marked out, our attack is dead.
