1. At the age of 21, he replaced Marcos Senna( from the Euro winning squad of 2008) to represent his country in the World Cup 2010 and Euro 2012.



2. He replaced Yaya Toure from the Barcelona first team. And has been first choice for both country and club.




3. He forced Javier Mascherano to play Centre Back although Mascherano has had more experience in his position and has never played as a Centre Back before. So we can observe that everywhere he went, he has replaced more experienced and proven players before him. Now to the reasons of his importance :-

The last season yaya toure played in la liga with busquet, yaya was LFP second runner up to best midfielder. Sergio busquet was not nominated. It shows he performed better than bisque that season.
