Yes of course! It seems you didn't know that Windows 10 is for all. Both genuine and counterfeit versions are eligible to get the upgrade. The only difference is that, genuine owners will have a notification telling them to upgrade, and the upgrade would be done via Windows update. While counterfeit versions of Windows can just be gotten via Microsoft's official site, or wherever you can download the iso.

At the end of the day, Microsoft will activate it as genuine as long as you do an upgrade from either Windows 7, 8 or 8.1.

Why? If you are upgrading, it is genuine for all. Dont you know that? Whether you coming from a genuine version or a counterfeit version. Just download the iso and upgrade, then Microsoft would activate it. As simple as that.

Meanwhile, after the upgrade and activation, you can as well do a fresh installation if you want and you will still get activated by Microsoft.

Nah... Just 3.1 GB. 5GB is for both 32 and 64 bits. I downloaded the 64bit version, and the size is 3.12GB.

Upgraded yesterday from windows 8.1. The difference is so clear, everything went smoothly without issues. Took about 6 hours to complete. I didnt wait for Microsoft to push it to my laptop. Just make sure ur laptop is up to date, then go to Microsoft website to download the software.

What I discovered though, after downloading the windows 10 media creation tool which is about 18mb, I tried installing and it keeps telling me something went wrong. Then I fired up my IP, once my IP is changed to USA, the download started and it took like 6 hours to complete. I must say the interface looks a lot polished, oh and I love the new browser. Will upload pictures later.

Yes possible, but u will be running an unregistered version of windows if u don't know the passkey of the computer u are upgrading. If the passkey is available no problem. Moreover windows 10 is free upgrade.

The Microsoft's Media creation tool I used, it's just 18MB. Infact, it needs no installation whatsoever. Just run it.
