You're not very bright.
You took shots at traditionalist for sacrifices, what then do you call spilling the blood of the ram?

I'm done going back and forth with you. Continue to bask in whatever you believe in.

But ponder over this Q; why is it that when Africa followed beliefs of their ancestors they invented different things and had great civilizations still studied all over the world but with the adoption of christianity and islam, Africa has lost everything and turned to the butt of all jokes, a beggar continent with poverty, hunger, diseases etc. Why? Thinkabout it.

You would do well to let go of the name calling.

No my GOD is not hungry, but nature demands interactions between the physical and the spiritual to maintain balance and order.

But u should give ur advice to ur alah who seems to love ram blood so much millions of Muslims don't fail to deliver... what ever happened to prayers?

Oh Fool, where art thy brain? As part of what we re saying, u were thought to forget ur history, not to even know anything about it, buh u can know anything about the western world. U don't even know ur history, u don't know what u had, what u have and what they re still taking from u; giving u a mirage that has so clouded ur thoughts and judgement. I suggest u go and read the Egyptian civilization, I suggest u learn the Trades amongst the great Ghana, Mali, Songhai. Did u even know the old oyo empire had trade and encounters with ppl as far as parts of today's Sokoto(one of the farthest points in naija) our traditional globalisation. U don't even know of any indigenous creation/invention by the black. U have another man's religion and look at ur own traditional religion and belief system as backward and diabolical. The divide and rule was never only physical, they've done that psychologically and today, anything that is urs and of ur culture is inferior to that of the West. In the end, u would see u have missed out and lost it all when u discover ur history can not be traced and u become an individual of no lineage.. if u don't appreciate culture and religion that is urs, don't bother commenting, leave ppl who are discussing about it alone.

Smh. Islam has succeeded in wiping ur brain. .. u are so moronic you don't even realize that africa built rich and prosperous nations - Egypt, Nubia, Kush, Oyo, Bini, Mali, Songhai etc

U cannot even spell "invent" ... ur condition is really bad

Now again we are killing twins? So because some small village in calabar was recorded to have killed twins (the whole story was controlled by whites, how can we guarantee its authenticity comin from people with so much lies).

FYI, Isese doesn't ask for the killing of twins, Abiku and Emere don't get killed why twins? Use ur head. . The same yoruba honor twins like Gods but of course in ur ignorance you cannot know this. ..u cannot know about Ejire

I pity your likes, foreign abominations will end up destroying you - islam is already eating up ur brain

And as for d ram issh... Wen dd u ever see us offering even a lump of flesh to God as sacrifice? We eat it all just for celebration.
They are not muslims? grin grin
Go study the Quran

allahu was very clear in his instructions

Quran (2:191-193) - "And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And disbelief is worse than killing...
but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone. But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun (the polytheists)

What kind of deranged religion is this? Kill people for disbelief, disbelief is worse than killing. ..alah will forgive killing cus he's so merciful yet his mercy is so little that he wishes the destruction of non muslims

............

You fool, why not ask urself this. . Have you ever seen a traditionalist offer a lump of flesh to Olodumare?

Bro, you just fall my hands with what you have written here, I have actually been looking for your responses to educate myself on the thread. I am a Muslim and I like to get myself informed without prejudice. I expect you to educate the person that ask question or raised observation and not to be ridiculous. FYI, The Quran has in no way preached/support terrorism.

Good sir, it is good to seek knowledge and remain tolerant. .otherwise if not for the tolerant nature of black people foreign religions like islam would have been met with brute hostility at first sight

But to say Quran didn't preach terrorism is you trying to mess with us here

Quran (2:216) - "Fighting is prescribed for you, and you dislike it. But it is possible that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and that you love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not"

@ Op, Macof, Folykaze and other like minded folks.

Is their anyway a traditionalist can go about his business of spirituality without shedding blood of animals?

And

Did any of the "gods" attain his height without
blood sacrifice?

Yes . the Hindus have substituted animal sacrifice. with plant sacrifice. breaking of the coconut for example.

bu dont do such unless you are a vegetarian. or else its hypocrisy.

Sorry for the late response, was too lazy to stepout of the house till this morning.

That's the book.
It is written in Ife dialect and only given to initiates or omo-ile. So you won't find it out there except someone from either group gets corrupt or greedy.

The other blue is the first edition.

We need to keep in mind that earth is a very spiritual place and to reach certain depths, blood of certain animals is required but there are different levels to this. And there are times when it depends on the quickness of what you want vis a vis your patience level.

Obatala for example takes mainly snail water. Blood of animals depends on what the situation is but mostly few and far between.

Bibo orisa in itself does not mostly require blood but when people go to these orisas with requests to be taken up to God they may want to offer animal bloods for quickness which is also rare considering Esu is tasked with this and he does not require much and and most times no blood.

In many cultures, blood is the symbol of life. And in spiritual circle, it represent the ultimate seal, tradition perception that alliance, vow and contract is irreversible especially between men and the Gods.

That said, all gods do not accept blood sacrifice. There are some that prohibit it completely and there are some that accept blood of only specific animal

This spot is in the middle of the temple, it has been there ever since Obatala period.

It must not run dry, water has to be fed to it while people or any person is at the temple.

It plays a significance role in that one could drink from it and say prayers; especially those experiencing delays with having kids.

It is called Osunkogbe.

Thanks for all the responses. May ur knowledge be replenished.
May I dare to inquire if a few drops of blood from the one who sacrifices suffices as seal or the spirit of another messenger must do the communication with the spirit realm?

The question now is what right have we to deprive others of their right to live save our might. The people of the book religions often brag about it being written in their books. Consequently, they feel justified.

The suggestion if l'm allowed one, is that we as spirits burdened and graced with bodies should strive to conduct our pilgrimage such that we portray attributes of evolved beings the Olodumare would be proud of, even as we learn from the ways of the likes of Obatala, Sango, Orunmila and others much as we should not be aversed to the wisdom of other great icons of wisdom. It is amazing what the dog can teach about loyalty and friendship!

Pardon my punctuation pls.
