Nigerians will never stop judging their fellow men especially the so called leaders of tomorrow.

You guys will complain that the fees are much and all these Universities need to employ and pay salaries. They have contributed and still contributing to the growth of the nation in different ways and putting on the headline that, they are substandard is unfair.

Op, your tittle is misleading and should be changed.

NUC never said the Universities were substandard, they did not meet the set criterias after 3yrs of issuing provisonal licenses and 2yrs was given for them to make amends with proper monitoring.

It's a good omen though, the universities will work hard to meet up the set standards in order not to loose their license.

There's a university in Uyo the capital of Akwaibom state. The name alone should make NUC not recognise it at all. I mean what in God's name is "Abundance Wisdom" the combo looks so grammatically wrong and then you listen to the "lecturers" who in the real sense are insults to real lecturers and you just want to use your hand and pull the school down physically.

Nothing to worry about. NUC visits Universities every 2yrs to accredit courses and the report you read was that of this year. They did not cancel any course in any of the listed Universities neither did they state any punitive measures.

Thank you brother , when I read the topic and this story ,they don't mean the same thing to me. OP should try to change it.
NUC still provides more years for the affected schools.
Nobody will build an institution like LANDMARK university and still allow NUC to close it down.

because LANDMARK offers you to come for their putme doesn't make them sub-standard. Most (85%) of Nigeria private universities will accept you if you didn't choose them in JAMB, so far you have the necessary requirements.

I was also offer admission(for putme) into JABU last four years but God blessed me with UNILORIN.

If you can pay their( private university ) fees then u get automatic admission not like Government university where to get admission is frustrating .
