hmm, 3 months ke, d one dat is so compulsory is a month i guess for the hot water bathing n for d spotting it differs oo, but for me it was befor 41 days... hw old is ur baby.. buh is very gud for u to take hotwater inorder to help ur discharge cum out well... hope dat helps , oda mamaz wil contribute

1) I didn't bathe with "special" hot water for a day. Just my normal warm water bathing.

2) I think about 2 weeks plus or minus if I remember correctly. But you might continue to see droplets when you take long walks or engage in strenuous activities.

Body sure differs sis.. post partum bleed has a 15 day cycle then sum won't see anytin again while odas experience 6weeks on and off discharge stained wit blood and sum go as far as 8weeks.
Never a fan of hot water bathing and body pressing and I alwaz stood my ground.. the only period I had it was wit my first and I didn't do more dan 3 or 4days b4 I stopped dem. All the best

What were you using to clean it or applying on it before it became swollen? Since it's swollen, pls go see ur pediatrician.

If it were only the white discharge, clean droplets of bm would have helped but since it's now swollen, the Dr needs to have a look.

3months ke,na me bath myself sha,but I think 6wks is ok,then for d spotting body differs some pples own stop @ 6weeks

@ proudmom38, my mum insisted on the hot water bathing/pressing, she siad it was reallly necessary for FTM. Even the matron at hospital gave the same advice. Though they said 3months, i did it for 2 months. For d bleeding, i had it for 6 weeks.

My dear I don dry finish because of hot water lol, n na so my body go dey hot aftr bathing, no b say I get tear or somethin. As 4 d post partum blood,I only see it wen I make use of d toilet. Thanks 4 ur response.

For me, I insisted I didn't want any pressing with hot water but I was taking hot water and bathing with hot water, after two weeks, I had reverted to drinking cold water and bathing with same as I was more comfortable with it. I just didn't send them oh and my tummy is OK .

Don't use too hot water o....so u don't get that roughened tummy look . Hot tea and cereal also has the same effect.

I dint do the hot water press o. They gave me some drip stuff in the hospital that helped pass a lot of the blood and I took hot tea a lot. My mom was dismayed!!!! But exercise and eating right helped get my tummy back in no time

I used sitz bath and warm water with some liquid they gave me at the clinic for my vjay

@proudmom, I didn't use hot water to massage my body oo..just my regular warm water for bathing morning and evening, but I had lochia for almost 4 weeks..I even did my sit bath for just 5days, no time jare and i'm fit again except that my tommy is still dark(dunno what to di about that)

@joyousf, I didn't get the 1kg sized cerelac in that pharmacy and getting two small ones doesnt pay financially so I got it elsewhere. I heard twins pharmacy along iyin road after Fajuyi park also sell genuine stuffs.

Honestly, I didn't do anything. But I started slight abs workout after 4 months. Asides that, nothing o and my tummy is flatter than ever now. I don't believe in hot water baths.
