Take time to read and understand.

How can i conclude on my own, when i copied the photo from saengine?

The source of the Photo is Saengine. I don't know your military or it's branches. Saengine captioned the photo as SANDF "Paratrooper". Hence my title!

This is basic common sense!

..... But he is insinuating that i'm deliberately mis-informing people. LOL!
He didn't call the chap a paratrooper.

Typical........ Even in your ignorance, you're still making further ignorant claims.

"So, why don't we look at the times?".

Saengine posted that photo at 6:08pm

I posted that photo at 6:22pm

Hmmm, let's see. On Page 225 at 3:26pm on Aug 22 I posted this link:

http://www.enca.com/south-africa/thejump-are-you-brave-enough

and the first person to post a photo from the link was Henry. Lest there be any doubt as to what the original caption said, I'm attaching the photo.

When Mike corrected his caption, the response was a derisory, "What's the difference?"
Followed by the usual dissembling, which falls apart when he references the UK Pathfinders, which means he knows the difference.

Sadly, all too true to form as the following examples prove:
1) A shambolic paratroop graduation is edited to a few seconds and presented as a drop "behind enemy lines". The longer real video is posted and against all reason, is dismissed;

2) A post by Beegeagle extolling the virtues of Paramount's Flash Multi Platform Mission System and suggesting it for Nigeria sees Henry deliberately omitting Denel Ingwe anti-tank missiles and substituting them for Cirit rockets. Response? Dissemble and pretend the issue is about sources.

Boy, what an emotional baggage you are. You are making a huge mockery of yourself.... Truly, I'm enjoying every bit of it!

I post images, military images because it is satisfying, like a hobby.......... I don't get paid for doing so, no rewards. plus it is the internet, nobody takes it seriously, excerpt you that is.

- I did not, and still have not checked out that link, if i had, you'd be sure i'm going to post all the images from that link to this thread.

I copied Saengine's photo from the other thread, onto this thread, with same caption.

- I asked Mike an honest question. If i wanted to make a mockery of the SANDF, something i quite enjoy, I do it on the other thread, not here.

- On the paratroop video, I'm not the source of the video, and i still maintain, i have no reason to change the caption and did not.

- On the Paramount up-grade, I gave you due credit! I only posted it there, to spur up more discussion. I'm at liberty to choose the sort of up-grade i think is suitable for my country's Army Aviation unit. Paramount group's up-grade for the EC-456 and Gazelle are pretty decent. my follow-on comment were detailed enough.

Frumentius, stick to posting images as you constant bickering is derailing this thread.

Credible Light Strike Vehicle for Nigeria.

The more i look at this vehicle the more i picture my ideal LSV for Special forces and Recon teams. A GPMG at the passengers seat and a FLIR LTV system, and this vehicle looks set for deployment.

Weight will be a problem, unless you have a massive engine in there

To my eye it looks like something thatvshould stick to roads

It is built on a Toyota Land-Cruiser chassis, and powered by a powerful diesel engine. Land-cruisers have amazing off-road capabilities. Top-speed is 120KM/H, Run Flat inserts and a reinforced suspension .

It has 4 Gun-ports, 2 rear, main gunner and a passenger gunner.

The rear of the vehicle could be re-configured to mount an MRLS, while the vehicle still retains 2 gun ports instead of 4.

Weight, off-course it is heavy, it can comfortable stop 7.62mm rounds and under belly grenade blast.

It is fit for purpose, and my proposed choice for a LSV.

*To reduce weight, top half armour can be removed. Allowing for more freedom of movement of front passenger gunner.

Water Survival course participants demonstrate resting under water and regulating breathing during their graduation ceremony at Moi Air Base on 7th May 2015.
The Advanced Water Survival graduates showcased their skills during this year’s graduation ceremony which was graced by the Deputy Air Force Commander Brigadier Francis Ogolla at Moi Air Base on 7th May 2015.
The participants underwent a six months rigorous training exercise on survival and rescue tactics. Throughout their training process, they were taken through tactics in deep waters, rescue skills both underwater and on water and combative techniques for use at any aquatic environment during rescue missions.
In his address, Brigadier Francis Ogolla lauded the efforts of those who had successfully gone through the course in making sure they acquire survival and rescue skills. He added that the skills will be instrumental in survival and rescue missions when called upon. In his closing remarks, he further reminded them of the importance to further their skills. He said that this was an affirmation to the world of Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) Capabilities.
Present during the event were senior military officers, service members and KDF families.

Contrary to what Wikipedia says,we actually operate 12 K-8's...The three that the public always see are part of the acrobatics and display team...the rest are either on Standby or being used for training flights...So it's understandable that you might not have seen that specific aircraft beforeb

For the record

Saudi's only have the M1A2 which lack the DU layer of armor

They have some M1A2SEP's (with DU) but based on the images coming out of Yemen, they arent deployed

And, FYI, the Saudi's have lost 3 Abrams, 2 destroyed and 1 captured.

But I guess, either way, if you deploy armor without infantry support, they are gunna get destroyed. Even the SEP wont stop a hit to the engine compartment from penetrating and knocking out the vehicle.
