Oh sorry Sir, I didn't get the mention notification that's why I didn't see it.

Its wet outside now, when its dry, I'd take my rear wheel off and snap picture of my AFS height regulating sensor and then compare with what's obtained online for you.

The picture is the sensor installed under my vehicle. Its protected under and by the sides in a housing made in the rear axle.

The head resembles that sensor you depicted. Mine has the numbers 9818. Don't know what it means.

Hi guys, On my way to work this morning got this P0442 (Evaporative Emission System leak detected (Small leak), after google search it indicated the fuel cap should be checked if properly fitted.

Though when the check engine light and VSC came on, i pulled over and scanned the car getting the code. i then wiped the code and drove to work with out the code resurfacing again. i hoping it wont come back again. (casting and binding mode activated. grin

)

Though i bought fuel yesterday and locked the tank myself (one click of the cap) i still rechecked. i hope that the code was just a fluke cause i no get cash to replace the gas cap this period.

Travelled to the villa for a burial and during the trip got am a code p0500 speed sensor 1. (This came on after a notorious bumpy hill climb. ( offroading villa style grin

)

When the CEL & VSC came on, I scanned the car and got the p0500 further browsing hinted that it may be a lose connection on the wire harness and I should clear the code that should "hopefully" solve it. I did exactly that and for now the code did not return, will watch out for it though.

Also, lomomike, I noticed when I brake on speeds of around 130km/h I get vibrations ( suspect front passenger side disc) but on speed of 70km/h and below nothing. What do you think?

Uneven brake discs. Resurfacing discs can solve this issue.

hello guys i am new on this forum, been reading most of the posts today and find it really educative, but i drive a tokunbo 1999 Lexus Rx 300 got it from the US,have used it for some months now and have no problems but i have fallen madly in love with the Rx 330/350, actually saw a Nigerian used 2005 Rx 350 (with the regular rx 330 body build, the seller said its been used for 5 months),from the pictures i have seen so far the car seem really clean and well maintained but i want to hear from the experts in the house. what problems am i likely to face with this car(rx 350) i think it uses the same engine as the 2008 Camry v6. i am not too worried about the fuel consumption(but again does it consume so much fuel) and are there any other things to be watchful before taking any further step in buying this car? please i need help.

if you're sure it is clean and no Check engine lights, no vsc light, AbS or tpms lights showing, go get it.

is your RX and AWD or FWD?
the "kpoko kpoko' sound seem to come from your shaft inner cup, suspension, stabiliser linkage.

by the way, Gazzuzz, lonelydora, decotech et al, we've got a new phrase, its no more "KPOM" sound which comes from the rear, now its "KPOKO KPOKO" sound which comes from the front. cheesy

Most likely the stabilizer linkage
I have the original US spec Stabilizer linkage and ball joints for your Rx 300. Call 07045221209 to get a good deal on that

Check this component

Use the first pic to identify cylinder 5 then the next shows you coil 5 is under the intake, but accessible if carful.

- Coil might be damaged
- Harness(wire) to coil might be damaged or.
have poor electrical connection
- Engine ecu might be ~~kpomed~~ having.
