Romans 10:4

4 For Christ has brought the Law to an end, so that everyone who believes is put right with God.

Christ put an end to the law. True but how? By fulfilling it of course.

Christ does not expect you to continue disobeying the law because He put an end to it. Part of the law is Thou shall not commit adultery, So to you Christ has put an end to that so Mama come ride with me.... watch it o. Work your salvation in fear and trembling o.

Then if you claim you are under the law, then you must tithe.
Matthew 5:16-17 "Let your light shine before men that they may see your good works. Do you think I have come to abolish the law and the prophets, I have not come to abolish them but to fulfil them.

It shows clearly you haven't any understanding what Jesus is talking about when He said He had come to fulfil the laws.
The key to understanding the relationship between Christian and the law is knowing that the old testament law was given to the nation of Israel.
Some of the laws were revealed to the Israelites how to obey and please God,{the ten commandments for example} Some of the laws were to show the Israelites how to worship God and atone for sin {the sacrificial system} Some of the laws were intended to make the Israelites distinct from other nations {lets say the food and clothing rules} none of the old testament laws is binding on Christians today.

When Jesus died on the cross He put an end to the old testament law.
Romans 10:4 "For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
Galatians 3:23-25 "But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would after ward be revealed. V's 24 Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after faith has come, we are no-longer under a tutor.
Ephesians 2:15 "Having abolished in the flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new Man from the two, thus making peace.

When you think about reading the old testament, the differences were-after comparing the two testaments-from a law given to Israel-Jesus had closed one door and opened another. So all man kind could share in the Good news-Jesus Himself have saved the world.
Not just Israel.

Sir Moses didn't have law. God gave the law through him. Yes I am under the law of God.

@ dmandy,

I'm sorry to say this but it's a bitter truth. I think you are still tied to religion and need to find Christ. In religion is confusion and mixture but in Christ, is rest and liberty! I'm sorry if this truth hurt you anyway. Please forgive me.

However, I prayed for you like the Apostle of Grace did,

New American Standard Bible
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

This is one of my problems with Christians and Christianity... You guys interpret the Bible to suit your denomination and Gospel. And not the way it is. Why will you interpret the meat to mean that now?

Why are you worried sick with 'Christians and Christianity'?

I have nothing against you. Believe what you feel comfortable with, I still believe Religion leads me to Christ. Christ while on earth didn't abandon religion. And I would still love you to look up the dictionary meaning of religion and cut the crap of Christianity is not religion.

I have also prayed for you that you find peace in your heart.

Thanks.

Go ahead, whatever makes you feel boom

God has not changed, and that is whether you believe it or not. God is still God, abandon His dictates at your detriment.

May God help you find the peace you seek.

It seems maybe you are having a little trouble understanding pure English. Can you read?
Matthew 28:18-20 "Jesus said all the authority in heaven and earth was given to Him.
Jesus also said: no-one can go to the Father without Him. God had changed by given Jesus all his authority to change the law.

How did you know, I have a serious problem reading long sentences that are out of point.

You take simple things and complicate them with the use (and misuse) of grammar.

God is not human, that he should lie,

Does he speak and then not act?

Go and check where the laws originated from.

BTW, What business do you have with 10 commandments? I thought you said Christ has brought everything law to an end?

That's you very own conclusion as you said. The fact that something is found or written in the bible doesn't make it a doctrine for Christians. We (Christians) are to follow Apostolic doctrines, sound doctrines and rightly divide the word of truth. Follow sound and Apostolic doctrine, there's no confusion whatsoever!

Ur conclusion is quite rudimentary.
If u were to be in a science community where there are arguments over understanding of issues, u'd come to this elementary reason dt science is all false!

Christianity has always bn disturbed by ppl who profess it but misinterpret it. Almost every notion suffers this, so it is not strange.

Cheers

Actually, reason does not nullify God or Christ. Just as there are different kinds of light, there are different kinds of reason!
What light u throw at an object will determine the colour u perceive dt object.
So I would not be surprised if ur sense-based reason and my spirit-based reason do not produce d same outputs!

It gets better.
Makes a better world view than a thought concept which has no concrete definition, very loose in defining absolutes, has no idea of d distant past, totally unsure of d future and basically is amorphous! Atheism is a sorry notion actually.
Re: Tithing: Where Does The Money Go? by brocab: 9:46pm On Sep 08, 2015
Are you still finding it hard to understand, God is Spirit, Jesus had clearly explained He was never the Father.

John 17:21 "I that all of them maybe one, Father just as you are in Me' I Am in You. May they also be in us so the world may believe, that you have sent Me.
John 10:29-30 "My Father who has given them to Me, is greater then all, and no-one is able to snatch them out of My Fathers hand. I Am and the Father are one.
Mark 16:19 "After the Lord had spoken to them He was taken up to heaven and He sat at the right Hand of God.
Not as God.
When Jesus said: I Am and the Father are one-meaning Jesus was preferring too, He is connected to His Father, like we are connected to our earthly fathers. Same blood line, don't forget Jesus also Had connected strongly with His Mother Mary.
God and Jesus are one, but not the same. God is Spirit.

At the age of 12 years Jesus said to His Mother and step father Joseph, I Am doing My Fathers business.
He never said: I Am doing My business.
