Nothing makes me sad that the negligence we practice as profession. If an ordinary ID card could be enough reason for doctors who are suppose to be life nourishers neglect a dieing human, that its better to seek conscience before we venture into any profession. These are the same people that go into strike anyhow all because of money not because of lack of equipments or training. It is unfair not to try at all. The death of the beautiful child is like a locket at the neck of those doctors. Though, death is inevitable but it is also avoidable ( for some period of time). Our doctors and nurses lack human emotions. I dont blame them, it like most of them are forced to embrace that profession, because i cannot claim to be caring, love to safe lives and a dying person would be ignored just because of ID card...

Its so emotional,its a pity cos I don't rly know d essence of medical centres in universities.It also happened in Lautech wen a 400level student collapsed while playing football nd was immediately rushed to d medical centre whr they left him unattended to simply because of I.D CARD!till he died.They were nw giving silly excuses lyk 'there was no oxygen'

Sometimes I wonder d kind of doctors we have here in naija..most of dem r so heartless n wicked. Even when dey see d person at d point of death,dey will still demand 4 deposit,police report,id card et al.

Since my last encounter with Nigerian doctor at the general hospital, I've been asking God never to let any of my family to be sick to the extent of referring them to general hospital, especially the ones in Lagos. Brethren if I share my experience with you, you will know its a very important prayer point.
