The Church in Nigeria has left important things to address meaningless issues like d wearing of trousers to church. We should rather think about how to live a worthy xtian life, shinning d light wherever we go instead of tackling irrelevant issues.

Rubbish.

The way these so called christians behave is very annoying, it's one thing to believe in one useless outdated book and another to be selective while at it.

If wearing of trousers is sin(like trousers was even mentioned in the bible to start with, smh) how about men that tie wrapper? How about unisex apparels or accessories? Who do those belong to? If that bible is to be taken seriously, no one is making any heaven, everyone is already doomed for hell seeing as they commandments therein can't be kept.

My mama never did,my sis never did and nothing happened to them,neither do they look local or odd.

I won't have women in my life gamble salvation all in the name of fashion.

Derz a biiig difference between men's trouser and women's trouser. A man cannot just wake up and wear a leggings for an outing..dats sin according to Deut. Dats just wot d passage means, not that trouser is for men alone.


P.S. Jesus wore a gown in those days...Adam wore a skirt.

The heart is where God speaks to a man. If u are a true born again christian or heavenly minded christian you don't need any body telling u what is right or wrong, the spirit of discernity will guide u to know the mode of dressing as christian.
If I may asked will u hearken to a lady evangelising wearing trouser?
The bible says he that knows how to do what is right and does it not it becomes a sin on him.

But i think ladies have their own trouser cos i can never put on leggings or claim that leggings is a male trouser.
IN MY OPINION, BIBLE IS VERY LOGICAL AND BLACKS ESPECIALLY NIGERIANS THINK ONE-WAY WHEN IT HAS TO DO WITH RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS....................................................

in this case, i think the bible is saying, women should not wear garment that belongs to men and vise versa. THE INTERPRETATION IS VERY CLEAR, WOMAN SHOULD NOT SHARE GARMENT WITH MEN AND VISE VERSA. SOME GIRLS SHARE BOXERS AND SINGLET WITH THEIR MALE.

The bible didn't condemn trousers for women rather it condemned "wearing that whcih partains to men". Now a female trouser doesn't partain to men. We shouldn't forget that men used to wear gowns too which in this part is supposed to be female garment. Men in this region tie wrappers around their waist too. And western culture didn't do anything to us. Afterall, they told us it is wrong and they are also saying it is right, why are we now refusing the later?
Personally, I feel a woman should just forget about the trousers for church, ut wouldn't cost her anything. It's just one or two days in a week, so why not just leave it?

Whoever told you guys trousers were made for men alone? There is a big difference between the male trouser and the female one and I don't think any sane man would put on a female trouser or a sane lady would put on a male trouser.

If you folks can interpret that particular Verse of the Bible as God condemning the act of wearing trousers because it is for men only , then you should also condemn the wearing of suits by women because suits, facecap, t-shirts were initially created for men use only but nowadays they can be worn by anybody.
