pls can my immediate elder brother sponsor my trip to UK ?

he said he wants to pay for my flight, accommodation and feeding as a birthday gift but my fear is am single (engaged) in my 30s, self employed ( am into clothing biz) traveled to dubai, Vietnam and china before, my biz is registered, i have a store, and my sole aim of traveling is for vacation, visit my niece and to also buy Stuff for my store.

so can he sponsor my trip? will it be questioned cos he's just a year older and doing so well for himself but we still bear same surname for now.

Technically, your brother can sponsor your trip, but logically, except he is a very rich man, it won't seem to make sense why is doing it, you may need to explain why he is sponsoring your trip.

buster: Good day everyone. I am new to this thread and I need advise. I intend travelling to the USA for a medical conference in Georgia. A well known multi national hospital in India is willing to cover all expenses including flight ticket, hotel and all other expenses. I have a letter from the hospital stating they would cover the expense. But am a little bit worried because they didn't give me their statement of account. Is the statement of account needed at the embassy or would the embassy confirm themselves. And also do I need to present my own statement of account even if am not the one paying for the trip

A friend was initially denied visa on "false document", he appealed, the officer in-charge later withdrew his initial verdict of "false document" accusation, this guy won the appeal and was given his visa.

Now, he is going to renew his visa,
1. Is he going to be denied visa base on previous record of which he won the appeal?
2. How will he respond to visa question like "Have you been denied visa before?"

Hello VO,
Someone was served with a removal notice for overstaying in the UK. She appealled to the immigration tribunal and won the case wherein the court declared the action of the UK home office as not in accordance with the law.

My question is does the person have to declear this when applying for a visa or the court judgement means the removal never existed so the person can say NO she was never ordered to leave any country? Thanks.

But pple keep scaring me that i may be refused visa because my sponsor is not related to me. My sponsor is my family friend . Myself and his daughter got admitted into the same school and he is paying for us. He is like a father. He has taken it up to pay for my expenses. He paid throughout my undergraduate years. Now my question is how do i back up my sponsorship documents without getting rejected by the embassy. I know i need a strong backing but what exactly do i do.

I have received my admission letter to study in bulgaria. My question are:
My dad friend(family friend) wants to sponsor me, so I want to know if its advisable becoz my dad dosent have d finance to sponsor me.

Secondly, one of the requirements required was "ORIGINAL documentd of property of sponsor/company of sponsor"
Am really confused here, am thinking of presenting d Original with photocopies then I'd submit d photocopies and take back d Originals!!

Please I'd appreciate your reply and advice
I will be submitting my documents for visa next week.

The question that you should be more concerned about are these:
1) Is the sponsor your own parent?
2) If no, why is he sponsoring you and what would he gain by sponsoring you?

Can I use a sponsor statement that have transactions more than 4million naira bud the balance inside is less than 500k.
Can I use the statement to apply for student visa?

My wife has been refused an Irish visa last year and I was refused a US visa this year. Do we need to include the refusal letters in our present application to to UK?

No, you do not have to present any letter of previous refusals even though the questionnaire requires answers to previous visa application outcome

I'm not certain of how it is done in the US, but there could be elements of fact in this assertion. There are countries in Europe (especially a Baltic state like Latvia) where an invitation letter is required to pass through their ministry of foreign affairs, and once it gets approval, the visa applicant stands 90% chance of being granted the visa
