The most plausible reason being that our media houses are known to misrepresent him (deliberate act) . It is what he has suffered in their hands severally and as such I do not blame him a bit for treating them with disdain. It is a deserved treatment for being unprofessional.

Examples of what he has suffered in their hands:
1. Buhari vowed to make Nigeria ungovernable - it turned out to be lie. The presidency had to beg him to withdraw the suit he instituted against Omokri (?) from court.

2. Buhari responsible for 2011 post election violence - turned out to be lie.

3. Buhari promised to end Boko Haram in two months when what he said was "few months".

4. "Buhari promised to make dollar equal to Naira" when the fact is there was no such statement from him other than to lament the poor value of the naira.

5. What about the very partisan role played by NTA and AIT during PDP's campaign of hatred against the man?

The local media need to do more to earn his trust again.

Baba can always schedule meetings with the press at specific times if he wants to. Take a clue from foreign leaders. It's not so fair that cnn, bbc and co will be the one reporting domestic news for Nigerians. Can the foreign countries allow NTA, AIT, OGTV or CHANNELS, to do same?
