In fact, ALL Presidents (Heads of States) and Heads of Government enjoy global immunity from arrests and prosecution...except when impeached or warrant issued by International Criminal Court, but NO head of legislative or judicial arm enjoys such. Look, this is not about Saraki but about the office of the Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Don't confuse the two.
I say prosecute Saraki but protect the office. So wait until he is voted out or impeached.

Unfortunately, Nigeria can't and won't wait for Saraki to resign or be impeached! If he can not exercise such moral obligation then he will be dragged into the mud even further and go down history as the FIRST sitting Senate President to be convicted! The law is NO respecter of any person(s).

As for incumbent president, it boils down to the parliament to institute impeachment proceedings if they find him wanting. No country in the world try a sitting president.

Nigeria will have to live with the consequences of its actions and wait for Saraki to resign or be impeached
If Saraki cannot exercise moral obligations, he should be dragged in the mud but the Office of the Senate president cannot be dragged in the mud! The office must be protected.

I remember you drummed support for Saraki to be senate president despite his known antecedents just to spite APC. People like you shouldn't be taken seriously for your double stand on national issues.

The reason you are aginst Saraki now is the faint hope that a PDP senator might clinch the presidency should Saraki be removed. For you and your likes, it's not for the love of the nation but for your stomach.
