If u are a policeman, going by your name, I can understand your position. VE just buried his mom just last weekend or so. Was nfa represented? Was Oliseh there as the head coach? Did we send any reps? Honestly, I don't know about the answers.

I am working with what we read here. I am particularly not in agreement with Sunny's style. This is not only the wrong guy to use to set the rules straight, but a wrong time as well. Team discipline is great but sometimes, result may matter more than disciplinary actions.

Sunday Oliseh goofed. Big time.
After such challenge to Oliseh by Enyeama, do you think that we would have played well with Enyeama in that field? I don't think so. Well, from the information I got, Enyeama got the news that his mom was dead and failed to inform his coach of such condition, only for Oliseh to play his first two games with a rookie in the goal post. The burial was the same without letting the coach know too. Courtesy and responsibility demand that you inform those in charge of you of your whereabouts. Oliseh, due to Enyeama's unreadiness, had to choose a new captain for these two matches, chose Musa. Enyeama had to rudely interrupt him and started bragging that he has lasted long in the team more than Oliseh and won laurels. Well, whatever it is, it is said who ever a benevolent spirit cracks his nuts should not forget to be humble. Enyeama has been a good servant until now and got every part of the situation wrong. He could have waited and later meet with Oliseh privately and tell him his contentions.

r u surprised? wz it nt ds same congo dat denied us last afcon participation. they r trying to put themselves in the list of our perpetual beaters after argentina and cameroun. am just happy for oliseh, he maximised every opportunity to run keshi down in d media and analysing as if football is played with mouth, nw reality has come, he is struggling to cope with d "mouth reputation" he created for himself. our nfa too wont b spared, they keep appointing ex national footballers to b national team coaches even to those that cant remember d wings they played while dey were playing. going by logic i think aghahowa should b warming up to b d next national team coach, because i dont knw u gets sacked first between mourinho and oliseh.
On point. Oliseh was always eyeing Keshi's position as the Coach. Now its his turn to displace Keshi's tactics as he was fond of in studios. Oliseh! Wetin happen na, abi the spirit of Keshi and Enyeama's mum don de pursue you

FA fines Arsenal and Chelsea Players
http://www.sportsblog360.com/2015/10/fa-fine-arsenal-and-chelsea-for-failing.html
Chelsea and Arsenal have been issued fines for the behaviour of their players in the fiery London derby at Stamford Bridge last month.

In a ill-tempered clash, the Gunners had defender Gabriel Paulista and Midfielder Santi Cazorla sent off as Chelsea secured a 2-0 victory over Arsene Wenger's side.

After the game, Gabriel had his red card rescinded, while Diego Costa was hit with a three-match ban for an incident with Laurent Koscielny that had not been seen by referee Mike Dean.

Now both clubs have received punishment from the FA for failing to control their players.

Ok.... But I think Nigeria will "truly key in" only when Oliseh leaves........
#fact

We can analyse the game all we want but until we do what we gotta do....... We'll always keep analysing games but not winning them.

Kbs468:

Guy forget wetin don pass. This is a thread for the result of the match today between Nigeria and DR Congo in Belgium. So talk about what you saw.

For me, I summarize everything I saw as below

1 Both goals can beat any goalkeeper in the world and I repeat any goalkeeper

2 The defence line today just confirmed the classification of Nigerian players as 'Average'

3 The midfield had a disconnect with the attack especially Mikel with his poor output at the end after doing everything great from the build up

4 The forward even had more chance than DR Congo but selfishness rob them off of goals. So its high time they key into the coach's philosophy of building a team and not stars by passing to the player in the best position of goal scoring.

5 Above all, there is hope from what I saw on display. Many will be commenting and crusifying the coach just because of the result relative to what transpired earlier today when they did not even watched the match

Oliseh is not a coach, but a boolie. He got the job only after serial running down of Keshi. See how bad he is, the first match, he managed to get a draw, and this second one he was beaten hands down With Cameroon on Saturday, I bet Nigeria will concede 3 goals Oliseh is not a coach. he should be changed fast in this change period

Nigeria losing 2-0 to DRC in a friendly is not a complete disaster, i believe we should exclude the enyeama -oliseh brouahaha from todays result.

Nigeria lost to Uganda 1-0 this year in the Akpabio stadium on Nigerian soil with Enyeama between the sticks. DRC is a way stronger team than Uganda

And you were present when enyeama said all this things..

You were also there to know that Enyeama didn't inform the team management about his mother's funeral.

What's your name again?
Amaju Pinnick or Mike Obi?

You see, sometimes you must learn how to manage people you work with.
England has a reason for referring to their coaches as MANAGER. It means to manage.
That country is the origin of English language..

Oliseh goofed. He picked on the wrong guy at the wrong time. Do you think Nigerians would have cared much if this problem was between Oliseh and Efe Ambrose or even Emenike. Enyeama happened to be our best player for almost five years running. His Sins were already forgiven by us.. But as for Oliseh, we are not in a hurry to pardon him even if he wins Germany or Argentina in his subsequent games.

No matter what Lionel Messi said or did, the manager must find a way to manage the issue.

Do you know why, the fans wants only the result.
The best players get the results, whether they are stubborn or not.

I can understand where you are coming from but before a player is invited to the National team, a letter is first of all, sent to the club he plays for.
The club then informs him that he is wanted by his national team.

If Enyeama told NFF about the mother's burial, then he has told Oliseh as well. Oliseh works for NFF.

On the issue of shifting match to Kaduna, Enyeama has every right to demand for the reason.
What else does Captains do if not ask questions over things that affects his team.
Bombs were going off in Northern Nigeria. There was no reason to take our games there. Why not take it to Maidugri instead?
Chosing the venue was political. I would rather watch a game in Enugu than Kaduna..

In summary, Captains ask questions, even inside the playing field. They are the ones allowed to confront the referee or challenge his decisions..

Oliseh wanted a guy that hardly speak English. He doesn't like answering to anybody.
Then he gave us Captain Musa.
When Mikel is still his senior at the National team.

Oliseh broke the unwritten code in the Super Eagles. The longest serving and/or the most capped players are always named captains.
Ideally, Enyeama was supposed to be captain. Mikel 1st vice captain Musa 2nd vice captain. but oliseh ignored Mikel.
It was not only Enyeama that was demoted, Mikel was demoted as well.
This is not good for team harmony.
Valid points.

lawani Vs Excuzeme:
I have taken time to read all ya posts. It is quite amazing how people let their emotions blind them and make comments without thinking.
Please lets judge this issue on its merits please.
1. Enyema pulled out of the Tanzania match at the late hour. His excuse was that he need to attend to family issue. There was no formal communication with the coach. This infuriated Olise, as he had to make a late adjustment to get Carl to man the post for Nigeria. Thank-God we didn't lose the match. Later after the match, me and ya all including Olise read of Enyema's mother's demise from the pages of newspaper. In as much as i condole with him on the demise of his mum, i feel it was very unprofessional of him not to carry the coach along as we had an important match to persecute. That was very rude and unbecoming of a national team captin!

Dont know if you've ever lost your Mother before but if you did and you were a good child, l am sure football will be the last thing on your mind!
FYI, Enyeama's mother was at the point of death when he rushed home. You think at that point he should be thinking of Oliseh and his inflated ego? Even his club did not bother him once they knew his mother was at the point of death, they just allowed him leave and then tried to tidy-up things after.

2. Enyema went to bury his late mother, did he carry the coach along? I don't think so, please recall their already is an issue caused by him which i believe could have already affected their relationship. A deadline was given and he had no reason not to keep to it. Any reasonable person should have called to inform his coach that he will report late due to the burial. Did Enyema call Olise to inform of late arrival? No i don't think so either. Again this is very unprofessional and unbecoming of a super eagles captain.

This is the difference between all these Nigerian egocentric coaches like Oliseh... and real Man-managers like Maurinho!
When these dark, slender Brazilian, Chelsea midfielder (Ramirez) had a similar problem, it was Chelsea and Jose Maurinho who were calling to find out if he was okay, and how they could be of assistance.
A good Coach is a manager of players, including their psychological welfare! That Enyeama has just lost his mother was all over the news and Internet so Oliseh cannot claim not to know. It is out of pomposity that you will still be waiting for a grieving young man, to call you , all in the midst of his burial preparations! Matches come and go but Enyeama's mother will never return! This si the period that a good Coach will make a player feel loved and appreciated. In my playing days as a young boy, if one of us looses a parent, we will all form a "guard of honor", wearing jerseys, at the burial ground, as a mark of honor.... and l am talking about just neighbourhood local team!
If Oliseh thinks he is too big to acknowledge that the guy is mourning his mother, then let him wear the boot and stand in the post himself.. The person mourning will not even remember to call the closest person to him because your mind is in so much turmoil

3. Finally he got to the camp late and learnt he was not the captain anymore. Olise must have taken decision based on what happened before when he pulled off the Tanzania match to persecute the upcoming matches without him so as not to be messed up again. Now Enyema came and learnt hes no more the captain, he should have requested for a private chat with his coach for an explanation which i believe he deserved but instead he went about it the very wrong way!

I totally agree with you on this one.
Enyeama should simply have let the matter pass.
He is still our best goal keeper, by a long mile ( and if he wanted to pay-back Oliseh in his coin, all he should simply have done is to have allowed one "important goal" to slip past, one that would end the career of Oliseh as a coach! grin grin just kidding ).
But really, a Coach has the right to change his Captain though seasoned coaches do it in a way that it would not rub on the ego of the former captain so as to avoid rancour in the team. The team cant perform properly when players nurture grudges against each other.
A good coach must know how to manage such situation,.... not make it worse as Oliseh have done
.

4. In as much as i didnt support the harsh treatment melted to him, i want to believe that Olise must have seen what me and you didn't not see before deciding to swap him with Musa. He needed someone that is dedicated and that he can count on. Not someone that feels he is becoming to big for S.E.

I disagree with this picture you just painted, of Enyeama. He is one of the most level headed players Nigeria has ever produced. If you are talking of Mikel "Slowbie", then l would agree.

5. Finally,Enyema should please go and take a chill pill. His attitude and recent conducts do not portray a royal and professional player who is dedicated to SE. After all we all remember when he and Mikel obi revolted and refused to board a flight to a match which caused a lost of bad blood and disharmony in the team. You don't challange or undermine the authority of your coach as he takes the responsibility if the team wins or loses. He went about it the weong way by challenging Oliseh openly. That was so bad and should be fined! Can he do that at his club and get away with it? No i dont think so..let him try it at Lilie and his career will be crippled. It is high time our so called Europe based players showed some respect to our Nigerian coaches.

Again, l agree with you to the point that a player is not bigger than the team or Coach.
As a Captain, he needs to show even more decorum and be an inspiration to others in the team
But do you know that even Maurinho, with all the accolades he has won in football, still respect his players?
Despite all the mistakes the players have made this season, have you ever heard Maurinho "openly criticize them" on TV, talkless of asking Security to manhandle a player under him?
Or is it not Maurinho that would be sacked due to the players bad performances of recent?
The problem with people like Oliseh is that "he cant manage power and authority".
When you have those two things, you need to learn humility and human-relationship management.
Oliseh is still full of unnecessary EGO, like someone who is trying too hard to want to appear "Tough and heavy-handed".
When you are good, it is your record that will speak on your behalf!
Oliseh reminds me of our bad, half-baked Maths teacher who uses the cane to frighten us from asking him question he knows he cant solve! grin

6. I think he should just retire from S.E and allow others to play abeg.

Again, you got it very wrong!
First, show me a better Keeper that we have, than Enyeama, as of today? None.
So, will you cut -off your nose, just to spite your face? You will drop your best hands, just to prove you are tough? Nonsense!
Secondly, as long as Enyeama still has something to offer the team he will still be in the team.
Dont forget keepers are as good even up to the gage of 40yrs, as some in the Premier league have shown and as of now, Lille FC and the whole french league knows the value of Enyeama.

Mark my words, if Oliseh does not change his approach and really get to grips with how to manage footballers, his reign as the SE Coach wil be very short and his legacy will be very bad!
(Even Sir Alex, as tough as he was, has to take it easy on Wayne Rooney, some years back!) These are footballers and not necessarily the best role model when it comes to morality but we cherish them for what they can do on the field of play.
What manner of Coach asks Security to bundle out a player, in this modern age? what an arrogant Arrow!
All he need do was simply stand-up and pronounce that Enyeama either walks out by himself or he (Coach) will walk out.
At that point, the player has no choice than to leave.
Its like a teacher asking a student to leave the class and he refuses. You simply tell the class, "you wont come back if the student does not leave".
His mates will give him the "eyes" and say Ol'Boy, leave naah" wink wink otherwise embarrassment go follow!
But its a soft landing for both parties, without rubbing egos unnecessarily.

Let Oliseh know that Players, when properly managed, can make or mar any Coach..... and we remember that Oliseh has an even worse attitude, under Westerhof and other coaches (The Mafia)

Enyeama remains an asset of the S.Eagles, .... until proved otherwise.

I predicted that Oliseh has dug his own grave, with his own hand..... and his own disgrace out of the National team would be worse than what he did to Enyeama.
This is just round one, if he cannot beat Congo DR in a friendly!
When time reach, Oliseh will lace Boot and enter Post by himself.
KARMA is a BIATCH!
