Although its the govt job to fix roads, we cant keep waiting for the govt every time, so I took matters into my own hands and decided to patch the potholes in my street with cement and gravel even tho i know nothing about building or construction....

Bought a bag of gravel, a bag of sharp sand, half bag of cement and the result is what u see in the pics below

Is OP male or female? Title says 'her street', legs look masculine. Some things needs to be changed, either the title or the legs.

Guy I am not hating, even as I type this I did not bother looking at ur moniker, so y will I hate someone that is virtually non existent to me..

There is nothing commendable there, virtually everyone once had the opportunity to patch his neighbourhood, like I usually patch the floor where I gym nd sometimes the rat holes..

If u worked on a road, how come u did not capture the road instead jst a portion of ur job.

If u were working on a road, how come u bought Half Derica of cement for the job..

Oga I am just stating what I observed, no time to hate when the banks have not asked us to stop making more money cous of their limit..

You're patching the front of your house not the main road. The pix show your frontage doesn't have gutter which now allow the shoulder side of the road to cut, which if all those staying along that road dig gutter nothing of such will happen inversely u contributed to the collapse of the road. Example of what am saying is ekpoma in edo state. People staying there no what i mean. Stop procrastinating

Typical black person,in nnamdi kanu's voice(onye isi oji) Instead of u protesting and demanding for the impeachment of your local government chairman or demand for the sack of the head of your state road maintenance agency director(which does not cross the mind of a black man) you and others are busy praising yourselves for absolute waste of energy. My o my,Did God create the black man when he was tired.

Nice initiative..

However , your topic is contradictory.
The one on the featured page says "Photos Of A Nairalander Fixing The Road In Her Street With Cement & Gravel" and then the obvious one says "Photos Of Me Patching My Street With Cement And Gravel". And the OP happens to be a dude. Not that it means anything but it seems to me like the OP is trying to steal someone's thunder.
