I did. Currently following him on Facebook.....PLANETWORMS

That dude is making N400k monthly from that space. He sells his earthworms for N4,000 per kilo. Is there any agro-related TV programme in Nigeria in Seed of Gold's format?

Thanks. Do you have an idea of their daily milk production rate?
No. I don't have that idea. But Friesland Campinas/IFDC has some milk collection centre around here.

Pavore9:

It is common in supermarkets here. There is a lady who owns a farm of it and she sells @ N160 per kilo.
Cauliflower is a bit scarce here. Its therefore on the high side

There is no agro related TV programme in Nigeria.
There are a lot of untapped opportunities around here

l don't need to be told that the milk are bought off! Someone is thinking of setting up pasteurised milk dispensing outlets in Lagos.

We can't wait on government, creative minds can come up with programmes with a refreshing delivery as against the NTA's insipid presentations. l know such programmes would be a hit amongst Nigerians. lanre2009 knows how the presenter of Seeds of Gold, makes it interesting as he puts fun into it and moreover there are many other agro related programme in different TV stations competing for viewership. Like you said there are lots of untapped territories in Nigeria.

I have copies of some agric videos ( seeds of gold, smart farm, vermiculture, etc) I am willing to give free copies to anyone in and around Lagos. Hope this will make someone come up with such a program in Nigeira. Any interested person should send me a PM.

Did you get to watch the Canola oil episode on Smart Farm few weeks ago? I hear someone is coming over to Kenya from Nigeria very soon to come understudy the cultivation of the seeds, harvesting and processing into oil and packaging. It is said Canola seeds matures for harvest within 90days and a acre gives 2 tonnes at harvest from which 500 litres of canola oil is processed from. Saw a litre at the supermarket earlier in the week selling for N850.

Our November training which will be the last for this year
is mainly for those that would love to do irrigation farming
and make the dry season vegetable millions.
Tomatoes, watermelon, cucumber, radish, okro, marrow,
green vegetable, ewedu etc are some of the crops that we
will be working with
Its coming at the right time.
The November training will also be the last on farm
practical training for the year.
We will be working basically on:
1. Selecting your seed.
How do you determine which seed to use?
What quantity do you need for an acre or hectare?
How do you space your seed planting?
Is it compulsory to do nursery?
When do I transplant my nursery?
2. The soil
What type of soil is required for specific crop?
How do you recognise an infected soil?
How do you treat your soil?
What quantity of organic matter does your soil requires?
3. Farm planning and set up
Do I need irrigation for my farm?
What type of irrigation will be suitable for my crop?
How to set up the irrigation system
What quantity of water does my crop required?
How often do I irrigate?
4. Staking and mulching my tomato farm
Why do I need to mulch?
What is mulching?
What can I use to mulch?
Why do I need to stake?
What type of staking is good for my crop?
Which one comes first? Staking before transplanting or
transplanting before staking
5. Fertigation/fertilizer application
Must I use fertilizer?
What type is the best?
Where can I source for it?
What's the difference between organic and conventional
fertilizer?
How do I make my own organic fertilizer?
What quantity of fertilizer do I need to apply?
How do I apply fertilizer?
The above are some of the questions that will practically
attended to during the one month practical training.
