Hi, everyone, Need your advice. I would like my son to attend a private secondary boarding school in Cornwall, Ontario. Can I apply for a student visa for him? Are student visas issued to minors? If they do not, what else can I do to make this happen? |

damidamsel: Writing a letter will not make a difference. Chances of him getting a visa as a couple is always high regardless of non travel history. You guys can always reapply again and focus on the importance of traveling together as couples. The snag to your present arrangement is that December is not certainly a good time to visit Niagara, it is unfriendly weather conditions which will be a concern for the VO. I think you may have to rethink on your arrangements. Good Luck |

Hi all, Please I intend to travel to Ottawa, Canada for the Xmas & New year. I discovered that Turkish Airline from Lagos to Toronto is the cheapest fare. I want to know if I can fly Turkish Airline to Toronto and book a local flight ( Air Canada) from Toronto to Ottawa . This would save more than N50,000 I want to know if I would have any problem at the Point of Entry since in my Visa application I stated I was going to see my brother in Ottawa |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by thebaft: 10:54pm On Oct 18, 2015 |
kkokoma: You will not have any problem at the Toronto POE with regards to the information stated in your visa application. If required, you can always show them the local return flight booking to Ottawa. Please note that Air Canada may charge up to CAD28 per bag depending on the class of ticket you bought This may erode the planned savings depending on family size and number of bags. You may need to be confirm with AC first before you buy. Also let your brother make arrangements for warm clothing for you and any other family member that will be travelling with you. 2 Likes |

I submitted my application at VFS Abuja center. The VFS staff arranging the documents say they no longer accept originals of most documents because of complains of missing documents, that originals of bank statement and letters addressed to the High Commission are collected. Anyone experienced this? Thank you. Plus ensure you check and remember to sign your applications if using paper route. |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Tvegas(m): 2:26pm On Oct 21, 2015 |
hopefulme: Yes if you are submitting via the paper route only photocopies of your documents will be accepted. This is inclusive of photocopies of pictures. If you insist on submitting originals there is a waiver form you will be given to fill. |

Meanwhile, to other matters If you eventually marry Ngozi Nwaogugu while CIC have funke Ojuelegba in their database as your wife, what will you do? 3 Likes |

Hello my people I need full requirements to obtain visit visa to Canada |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by thebaft: 11:15am On Oct 29, 2015 |
romefe:If the flight is not part of the booking from Nigeria, it may be considered as an internal flight and you may be charged for your bags depending on the class of ticket you have. Your best bet is to verify your allowance on the AC website with your PNR or booking reference. |
