jonnieoneng: 1. Bros, your typing in CAPs is unnecessary. You need not shout to make a point, although I'm still looking for the valuable point. But pray tell; 2. It is not by force for a woman to be a Governor, but it is "by force"(within the ambit of the law) for a AUTHENTIC winner to be declared so. 3. APC are not doing things like "their opponents". APC are exercising their judicial and civil rights in tribunals and courts as any sane party will do. How you have problem with that approach beggers belief and twists common sense 4. APC won election becos........you can continue to fill in the blanks...........how you rationalise a PDP ouster is funny. PDP lost! deal with it |

Seek knowedge & ask questions on things that u don't know, Tribunal sacked Agagu to declare Mimiko winner in Ondo state, same in Osun state, Tribunal sacked Oyinlola to pronounce Aregbesola the gov., all took place whn Late Y'aradua was the president. So ask if u lack knowledge or info. Good new by the way. TonyeBarcanista: 2 Likes |

Has she been SWORN IN by Chief Judge of Taraba State? If not, how come she is now the First Female Governor in Nigeria? Leaders and Members of the Apc tend to be too emotional when reacting to favourable judicial decision, and this itself is a threat to National Stability. |

mapet:do you know how she was declared Governor? This wasn't via election. .....she was declared Governor because the court ruled that PDP had no primaries, hence, no candidate. What this means is this isn't based on the people's votes, just a technical error on PDP's part.......not that Taraba is my business, but this isn't the 'will of the people' thing, if that was the case, it would have been a re-run, not an outright removal 1 Like 1 Share |

Whoa, what a development... If this ruling is un-appealed, or upheld on appeal(s,) then Madam Taraba becomes the first female to be validly elected Governor of a state in Nigeria! www.nairaland.com/attachments/3047815_SenatorAishaAlhassan_png5e10488de52313ea5ba33fea72adf683 If Madam Taraba does mount the saddle, then it'd be sweet irony not just that a party (the APC) the very first time it rules the country, produces the first female Governor of a state, but also that the state concerned is located in the northern part of the country! Here's a sincere wish that, if the judgement is carried through, Madam Taraba serves her state such that her people are genuinely lifted out of poverty in very measurable ways, and the dignity of the average Taraban gets enhanced. All the best to our country, Nigeria. P34c3 ..... ... |
