When did Asaba become ibo land?

Asaba was a refugee camp, it wasn't ibo and will never be.

Thieves, always claiming other people's land.

When Enugu peeps did their Enugu thread, they came hating.
When imo people did their own, they came hating.
When we had that delta vs. edo one, they came hating on delta state.
When some Anambra guy did the thread about a village in Anambra, they came hating on Anambra.
When they did Igboland village thread in the culture section, they came hating.

Which ethnic group, in your opinion, is the majority in Delta State? I am asking this because you said "other minority tribes" who have political power. Are you of the opinion that Delta Igbos are the majority ethnic group? What happened to Urhobos then? Just because you have the state capital doesnt make you the majority ethnic group. So correct your opinion bro.

What are you insinuating by this useless thread? That The "industrious" Igbos developed Asaba, the way the Gwaris developed Abuja?

Please tell me what the Asaba Economy is based on. Asaba is a civil service economy, pure and simple.
Stop the hate bro!
Asaba's development is simply feeding off the excesses of Onicha

Where was the excesses of Onicha before Asaba was made the capital in 1991. I was in Asaba in 1993 and it was still a glorified village with only one major road.

Asaba is simply feeding of oil allocations and 13% derivation from mainly delta south and delta central.

It is like someone showing pictures of Abuja and insinuating that Abuja's development is simply feeding off the excesses of Suleja.

asaba benefited immensely from the era of kidnapping on the south east. top business owners in anambra moved thr families to asaba. three members of my immediate family in nnewi moved to asaba and 've been going to thr businesses at Nnewi main market.

You people have a psychological condition, you really need the services a shrink. Using lagos as an example is stupid. Lagos is expanding outwards, the same reason Abuja is expanding outwards, it was the Federal Capital and is still a state capital. Meanwhile Asaba is developing because it is the state capital of the second highest producing state in the nation, It has nothing to do with the "industiousness" of the Igbos.

You people are so obsessed with Yorubas, it is beyond belief. Any one that deflates your overbloated ego must be Yoruba.

Well, i am through with this useless thread. Believe anything that enables you love yourself.

Sobo man why do you want to kill yourself? You are just jumping about the thread displaying your miserableness.

Look asaba nor the Op is not responsible for your sickness, so go elsewhere and die

is Onitsha also civil service city, if Lagos is expanding towards ogun , what makes you think Onitsha does not expand towards Asaba
Onitsha is not developing towards Asaba. Onitsha is moving towards Nkwele, Ogidi, Nkpor Oba, Obosi and deep into Anambra State because of Mr Peter Obi's policy in market establishment. He discentralized markets and business places in Onitsha and sent them to these areas, therefore residential buildings and small scale industries took over these areas.

What stalled Onitsha from influencing Asaba is this claim by some people from Asaba that they are not Igbo. Igbo business men in Anambra prefer building 5 story building in yhe afformentionwd areas than Asaba. Some of them have lands in Oduke and Okwe areas but they just build small houses there.

I am not happy with successive governments that has governed Delta from because their attitude towards Asaba is too bad. Building roads without gutter, nothing to show that Asaba is in Oil producing state. Bad roads and pot holes everywhere.

Moving from Onitsha to Asaba at night looks like going from town to Bush. It is a pity. I wish Okowa would help Asaba at least achieve most of it's potentials.
