What I do is probably superior to those.I have a background in c++ desktop application development.

I have developed several complex desktop software .

I just carry over my c++ debugg skills over to web programming.

I am not puting down ur site. My idea is a networking idea but not primarily a social networkg idea.Facebook has already handled social networking.

I am inviting people to partner with me to develop and host a university students networking site. It will be something like www.facebook.com but with completely different objective.Which should include a lawyer and accountant. The remaining people must be experienced php developers and a graphics designer.

It is expected to be more complex than facbook.com.

Alloted development time is 3 months.

A company will be floated based on it.Each participant is expected to be a share holder.

Shares will be owned in the other 2:1:1:1:.....1n. Where N is the number of participants.

The ratio 2 will be for me. I am a php deveoper.

Individuals who eventually become share holders are only allowed to sell their shares to me should they wish to sell their
shares in the future.

A non-programmer financial participant is allowed.If there is no financial participant then all members will also paticipate financially according to their share.

Financial participator (if any) will not hand over money to any member buy will only foot bill like cost of initial advertisement, cost of company registration, cost of web hosting , cost of domain name acquiring and ( optionally) cost of office space acquisition.


As many PHP developer as possible can show interest .

Interested php developers should email me.



Date of document signing will be jointly fixed online.

To be honest, I think mnairaland like me; is an old school programmer . Write code directly from Notepad or at best one barebones IDE. I don't use these frameworks that you guys of today use.

I use dreamweaver. I get a template and
write my code from the scratch.

You are quite write.I am old school. and for the records this project will not use framework. All codes will be wtittrn from the scratch.If u cant code from the scratch dont sign up.

No ones time will be wasted.The ptoject must and will be completed at the alloted time.The wost that will happen is that it will not have reached the desired level of complexity as at the time of releasing to the public, meaning development work will continue after release.

I am am in a horry to get back to desk top app whose development I abandoned for this. Other developers will continue whethered employed or partner.

I am managing this project myself and if the development is carried out as I planned it we may well finish ahead of time.

But to be honest my timeline did not factor the games section into it. That section will be one of those that will have developers workg on it after release.

U know.I had a look at facebook just now.For the first time in my life I noticed its complexity.All along I had just been using it. What I have in mind

Go and read "Accidental Billionaires" and you'll get an insight on this website creation thing. Facebook was first built with simple features. It was later they started adding more reasonable features. AND with all the other sites you want to venture into, it kinda shows you don't really believe in a particular thing. You just wanna try everything.

Trust me you will need funds and a lot more programmers, and later will have to start building your database, pay for licences for the server OS, 24/7 DBA's etc the cost keep growing.

I believe in you and be ready to collaborate more on the financial side for now, but you need first do a detail draft or build a base, a structure that works (something simple) for people to key into it first.
