You've said it all.The Yorubas are really cursed to betray their friends, just like my closest Yoruba friends betrayed me during NYSC days. It's really part of their life style and they do it with happiness.

it makes them feel good about themselves...............pretenders are everywhere, but the yorubas have them in quantum

How about their front man and defacto political leader who is a total fraud, convicted drug trafficker and kleptomaniac who has ripped them a new hole?

Sometimes I wonder where the Yoruba gets the audacity to be a critic of the central govt where their region is led by immoral hedonistic criminals
This is where you keep muddling things up...The Alter and Political Offices are two different things..Moral Uprightness isn't always the most important consideration cos it aint a religious organization..May I know who the Convicted drug baron is? An authority to support your claim too will be appreciated..Gracias Rev

Jonathan presidency himself was a failure.

So morality has no place in leadership?

Now I see why criminals and hedonists are your leaders in the SW.

Leaders of your place are not better than yoruba leaders.

Generally, leaders across nigeria are the same.

No no no no,you gat it wrong,Yorubas did not go back to OBJ,they went to PMB ,APC.If OBJ had remained in PDP to support.GEJ then GEJ would have lost more woefully.I repeat SE and SS voted more for Obj and na una swallow the vomit. If there should be an Odua Country today and Obj or any of his family members contest they would lose meanwhile Obj is 'still' collecting chieftaincy title from the East.Let the truth be told the SE and SS rallied behind Obj at the height of his political successes.

the SE OR SS never chewed OBJ talkess of swallowing him or even vomiting him

The SE/SW is largely PDP; the West was corely AD with strong pan Yoruba sentiment

Ekwueme and co were PDP so the SE would vote PDP and anybody PDP fielded, it had nothing to do with OBJ; i personally voted for Olu Falae

But APC, headed by Tinubu, the strongest Yoruba leader today and whom a large population of yorubas follow and admire, went back to their vomit, to a man they rejected twice at the polls.................think the point is cleared

Re: Jonathan Hits Back At Obasanjo -the Sun by Nobody: 9:12am On Nov 22, 2015
Jonathan can blab all he wants but he should remember that it was this same Obasanjo he is bad mouthing now that made it possible for him to reach the peak. We all know that it was Obasanjo who picked Yaradua and Jonathan and sold them to Nigerians. Jonathan owes Obasanjo a lot of gratitude because without him, he most likely would never have been vice or even president in the first place.

I will not argue if he is a convicted or not, but look around the country there are so many leaders that are considered as criminals in any standard country.

nigeria politics required a lot of money, it is mostly people of shady personalities that have the money to contest for political positions.

Also there are other leaders in yorubaland.

But also noted his contribution to nigerian political advancement.

Morality does not equal religiosity.

A man of sound morals and principles need not be the one preaching to you in church.

You can not level a defence that you are not the only thief and so you must be let go in front of a judge!

If the Yoruba nation which is the most vocal critic of central governance fails or totally ignores their own regional politics, this smacks of gross hypocrisy.

Tough for you. If you are not satisfy with that, you might as well join the bandwagon of your comrades that is championing the Biafra states in the SE.

The very fact that you refuse to see the rot in your own backyard but decided to take the crusade to the center smacks of hypocrisy.

A Bola Tinubu speaking on corruption is hypocrisy!

A Aregbesola speaking on prudency and accountability in governance is hypocrisy!

A Fayemi speaking on workers' welfare is hypocrisy!

A Ambode speaking on service delivery in governance is hypocrisy!

A Fashola speaking on fraud in governance is hypocrsy

I hardly doubt that.

The antecedents and corrupt ways of some of the core ministers does not point to that.

The other ministers have been described as local champions who even if they want to achieve do not have the prerequisite knowledge and experience to effectively man their portfolios. See the minister of Finance for example!
