you did a good job but you shouldn't have publicized it. the good Lord in heaven who sees in darkness would have rewarded you. you've already received your reward already from the numerous praises.
Be inspired to do good.
That's the message. cool

On my way home tonight along the Akala expressway leading to my house, I saw a truck that was abandoned on a portion of the road without the C-Caution signage and I passed by it.

But it occurred to me that a driver who is not 100% concentrated on the wheels could run into the stationary truck and that would be fatal, so I turned back, parked somewhere safe and sacrificed my car's C-Caution for the safety of other road users, afterall I can replace my C-Caution by just skipping a meal but a life is irreplaceable!

Good stuff @ Carloz

However that Caution sign is too close to the broken down vehicle.

Remember the overall idea is to give any oncoming vehicle enough time and room to veer off that lane without causing any damage.
the light from the c caution is what an oncoming driver needs to see from afar and veer off the lane.

So, the closeness doesn't matter.

But you are aware that many Nigerian drivers aren't that careful and many have poor vision which they don't care to address?

LOl, its so tiring, i hope someone can open a thread to talk it out to my fellow nigerians, some are even shameless of it by openly boasting on how they fap your gadgets.

Op, your mansion in heaven is waiting for you. Infact an estate awaits you in heaven.

God bless you.

We have so many heavy duty accidents lately, most of them blame it on d roads. But truth is its as a result of d recklessness of these drivers. This was how dagrin died.

Geeez, you and your kinds here are so annoying! The fact that you think you are making sense is even more pathetic.

As far as I am concerned, the poster is inspiring and teaching a good lesson that I will want I and my kids to emulate. So its a nice thing he talked about it and remind us its okay to do a bit of good.

Bad belle, frustrated people who only see the worse in other people's good will always find faults.

Truck and luxury bus drivers in Nigeria are drunk lots of the time they are on duty, many are stark ignoramuses such that a simple sense to place such life-saving triangular signal in case of break-down doesn't even occur to them.

Okay, listen up chief Judge, two weeks back in Makurdi along Barrack's road a coca-cola trailer broke down and was abandoned for a couple of days. It caused numerous accidents which cost over 6 lives including an entire family. Acts like the OP's need publicity so that other people can tap into that and realize that we can all do it. No vex about my long reply abeg, there's just a lot of idiocy bandied about online these days, valuable acts like the OP's deserves some publicity.
