It's very true. When the scheme first started, deportees were given the money and it was not seized. People were willing to go home because they could use the money to settle in till they can find a job or start a business. It is true. Even convicts benefit from this. It's called early release scheme. The Queen spends over £100 a day for every prisoner in jail. I'm not talking about this Alexia Thomas lady. UK saves money giving foreigners a token to go home on time than keeping them incarcerated for longer than necessary.

This was same case with People who came back from Libya.in 1998.some came up with a theory that Libya govt paid money to govt officials in Nigeria only for people to realize that it was indeed the Govt of certain states who where offering some money to its citizens to get them 4 ward. I remember in 2000 the Portuguese guys and Brazilians where just pocketing this money. I'm trying to steer some people to the fact that these money where paid directly to the families or persons not to any Govt officials.So if that's the case how can govt officials pocket these money.
