I hate when people tell someone like this who committed suicide to RIP. They should never rest in peace as they took a life that they cannot give.God created all of us but he chose to cut short his life by hanging himself. That should be 'Have No Rest in Hell'.

No one on this earth that does not have challenges, but you must find a way to overcome your challenges and move on with life.Some people got this money but could not use same money to save themselves. Deziani Madueke has all the money that can buy anything but could not buy her life.

The carry over could be a means to save his life maybe if he had passed out and went for service that yr but die during service.We must then ask why now.He took bad decision to have taken a life he cannot provide.Too bad for him.

Suicide is not the best answer to our problems but our ability to handle crises makes us to be men.We have to be Managers of Crises in life.

An extra year isn't the end of the world. Most graduates are still unemployed and roaming the streets. Why the rush?

beats my imagination. He obviously had a poor mental strength, some undergraduate spend more than an extra year in the uni, but they manage to sit it out and pursue their dreams... The irony of life though.

Who uni cert don help...

I had two extra years, graduated with a 3rd class eventually. I've not an A student anyway. Above all, I'm still living- with a wife and 6months old son, lives in a flat at a choice area of Lagos, with a Kia Sorento ride.

How did I do it? It's the Lord's: with hard work and prayer.

That must be civil engineering department.
But those who did not graduate with us last year in my department are now serving with us as batch B what's the difference.

Yeah you are right bro, it happend to Mr. Joy Lobo, an Engineering student that hung himself becouse his project supervisor told him that was going to spend one more in school because he was unable to finish his project on time when his mates has done theirs........ So painful....

This action shows that you didn't deserve to graduate the year you ought to. It shows that you are an utter failure You are not the first to have extra year, people before you had and people after you would still have. When you got admitted it was written boldly that you'd spend minimum of 4years.... Showing it might be more... I hope and pray God forgive you cos you committed a grevious offense by taking your life...

I spent almost 9 years for a 5 years course, suicide was never an option, and am doing fine today, to God be all the glory.

He must be a Yoruba boy because no Igbo boy will even think of that. All Hail Biafra.

Don't dwell too long on your problem. There is always an end to every problem, no matter how dark and impossible it might seem. There's a bright light at the end of YOUR tunnel. I have contemplated suicide severally. I have seen people smile and wondered if there was reason to smile in life. I have crossed roads hoping to be knocked down. I have wished I slept and never woke up. Life to me has been cruel. However, I overcame my depression through engaging in Church activities, evangelism, studying my Bible, listening to good gospel music - Hillsong United, Frank Edwards, Michael W. Smith, and a few others, making trusted friends, being around positive people and once in a while telling my feelings to friends and venting my feeling to God in prayers. It helps. Today, my soul is joyful, I am happy. I praise God each day. I understand that all challenges in my life are for my good. They will someday come to an end. It is well. Please, do not give up on yourself. Do not give up on life. Everything will be okay. it's only a matter of time. Be VERY patient. Peace !
