Not even Obama is able to change America from recession after six months. Signs of change in Americas economy is just starting to manifest after about 6 years. I am not saying we should give Buhari 6 years, but I mean calling him a failure after 6 months in office is misleading and gross exaggeration.
That is not to say Nigerians should not criticize or demand more efficiency. But writing off an administration that only just spend six months in office clearly showing lack of understanding of the enormity of the challenges facing our nation. Suddenly we are being told all is well before Buhari came into office. C'mon grin grin grin

A giant step to revolutionised our economy is by limiting our currencies to 100 naira higher denominations. The rest of higher denominations like 1000 naira, 500 and 200 naira should be confiscated and binned. By doing this those supper rich that served under Dr. Jonathan corrupt govt will have to option than to throw in towel.
Baba should just be brave and courageous if really he wants to write his name on plate of diamond. Nigerians has suffered bruises and if Baba fails to balm these wounds I'm in optimistic that God will send his beloved to recuperate his innocent nation.

The change we seek in this country is not an on/off switch like someone rightly said. It took Pdp 16 years to destroy this nation and we expect 6 months to repair such collateral damage? It doesn't work like that. From my little observations, there are a few policies that have been implemented that are helping us in this administration compared to the last. Take a look at fuel scarcity, the filling stations now can no longer hoard fuel for fear of being shut down . Even though there is still scarcity, we should understand that building a house takes months or years whereby demolishing it takes just days. My candid suggestion to check mate this problem is for Govt to create a platform or hotline for citizens to be able to report filling stations who indulge in malpractices and empower the regulatory agency by employing qualified graduates and personnel to regulate and check mate those hoarding petroleum products.

Our Naira value is very bad at the moment which is something we must all be concerned about considering the fact that we still import a whole lot of items as little as toothpick and all these transactions are dollar denominated hence causing inflation and hike in purchasing power. The reason for the stagnation in this sector is what I can't really phantom.

On the other hand,I think it's high time the Federal Government starts diversifying from crude as our only hope for financial breakthrough. They should acquire those empty pieces of lands we have all over the nation ,investing in assembling /production of agricultural machineries as well as providing farmers with equipments ,lands, finance and seeds so farming can be a lucrative profession as seen in other parts of the world. This also provides an Avenue for job opportunities for many of our idle citizenry both in the farms and assembling plants.

On the issue of terrorism, Intelligence gathering and Aerial surveillance will play a very vital role in winning the war against these insurgents and as such a counter terrorism unit equipped with state of the art technology whereby the Nigerian Army can be communicated with will really go a long way in this battle. There's a whole lot more I for one person could suggest like many other Nigerians if only our voices could be heard. I believe the Lord will strengthen PMB with wisdom to fulfill most if not all of his campaign promises as Nigerians are highly expectant in this regard. One day ,some day , Africa will be free, Africa will unite. God bless Nigeria.

Do we really have to remind Buhari of what to do? Well sha I knew it was going to turn out this way. Right from day one Buhari only told us what he is going doin, but he never really told us how he is going to do it

For those who read but do not understand, no one is expecting PMB to turn around the economy of the nation in 6 months. Many experts are just waiting for him to launch his economic blueprint to boost the confidence of the stakeholders. Presently the is total stop, vagueness and entropy in the national economic landscape. So annoying

U cnt give wat u dnt hv, i still maintain that both gej and pmb do not hv wat it takes to be a head of a town's meeting let alone be a president of a country. We cnt keep on doing the same thing and expect a different result, pmb has notin to offer and gej is even worst. We have been doing the wrong things since 1999, obj was a big mistake, gej was a bigger mistake and pmb is the biggest of all. If we must move forward, we need to start getting it right frm the primaries and not having people forced on us to vote 4.

Another political miscalculation tsunami is about befall GMB and his handlers if he fails to perform.
OBJ beat GMB by about 15m votes
Yar'dua beat GMB by 13m votes
GEJ beat GMB by over 10m votes
GMB beat GEJ by 3m votes
So there are about 10m voters that didn't vote in the last elections and are watching on the sidelines, if GMB fails, these voters are likely going to vote against him in the next election.

If a country has been messed up by a group of people for over 16 years & we are stupidly expecting things to turn around in less than a year, that means we are all being unrealistic & just a bunch of pessimistic thinkers. All these problems being talked about today started years ago by successive governments & the worst problems began from 1999 & we know those that were ruling us then till this year.Let us make one thing clear,as in very clear, crude oil sells for less than $50 a barrel now,our economy over the years has been solely dependant on oil, common what miracle are we expecting to automatically have economic boost in the country at this time? Our economy would be in decline until we diversify & that is a process ,not just we sit down & start lamenting & fooling ourselves on social media & all.I have not seen people come up with constructive blueprints, publish articles on what could be done to make the country move forward, not talking with reference to idiots that have messed the country up for years making them feel like saints, with the crop of ministers we have in place now ,it is obvious that things should get better & policies put in place appropriately. We should all know that the country cannot afford to fail now & we have someone who sincerely has the interest of the nation at hand,so let's just be constructive in our criticisms & hope for the best. GOD BLESS NIGERIA.

Thank you !! Just what I wanted to read , over the years have always asked my self why we have never moved forward as a nation . A lot of people can easily be fooled so the enemies of the masses are using that to their advantage because they no this might be the only shot we have . The country has been moving in a reverse gear for over a decade and people expect Buhari to turn Nigerian to London in 6 months .. Like seriously even London took decades to build . We have the best team right now and all they need is our support
The boko Harram issue this present government is doing their best to fight it , they took the war to boko Harram on like the past administration that was fight the insurgence from Abuja . At least now boko does not have any strong hold in the cities and states like they use to , that's why they have stopped thier propaganda videos lately . As for the bomb blast that's the last thing they can result to because they do not have the fight power anymore , the war against insurgence will never be a win win situation America lost a lot of men in the war front against alqeada ,Europe and America are very good in intelligence gathering have they found the sponsor of Isis ? No

Now, hes written an "abeg letter" to Baba.

His next action go be SHOUT.

truth be told he promised to hit the ground running if elected till now nothing, we have to call him to other.
When crude was sold above $100 what did the fg n state do with thier share, did they diversify?

But the pertinent questions are: why can't the citizens get fuel even at a lower price dan before, since it's now so cheap globally and again we're exporters of dis same commodity? Why is BH still ravaging?
Or do we still wait for economic diversification for diz to abate?
Until diz glaring issues are addressed, public perception of the President's integrity, competence and intelligence will continue to nosedive. Peace!

I BELIEVE THE PRESIDENT IS FULLY AWARE OF ALL THAT YOU POINTED OUT. WE NIGERIANS ARE THE PROBLEM OF THE NATION. WITH THE OPPOSITION INSTIGATING HATE, THE INCESSANT POSTS ON SOCIAL MEDIAS, THE RUMOURS, ARE MORE OF A CHALLENGE TO THE SUCCESS IN ANTICIPATION. I TRUST THE FACT THAT PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE, IT IS ONE THING NIGERIANS LACK. WE ALL WANT TO TAKE THE SHORT COURSE, YES IT CAN BE SUCCESSFUL IN SOME ENDEAVOURS BUT NOT SO EASY IN DECISION MAKING, ESPECIALLY ONE THAT HAS TO DO WITH THE LIVES OF OVER 170 MILLION PEOPLE. ITS ONLY A FOUR YEAR TERM. HE KNOWS HE (BUHARI) IS NOT THERE FOR A PLEASURE TRIP, HE'S BEING CIVIL AS AGAINST HIS FORMER MILITARY PERSONALITY. HE NEEDS OUR UNDERSTANDING AND PRAYERS SO THAT IF GOD BE FOR US NO OPPOSITION CAN STAND AGAINST US.

Many said pmb should be given more time. I agree but I don't seem to see any evidence on ground to prove that more time is what he needs.

How about selling off some of our presidential jets? At least he doesn't need 16 years to do that.

Frankly, I really don't expect anything from this government - they are the same set of people ruining the nation from inception.

A serious govt doesn't need 16 years to register it's presence. 3 months is enough to feel some impact!
