yes you can make a diagnosis over the internet. if you saw someone with midline neck swelling, you could call it a goitre just by seeing an internet image. if you saw a person with yellow eyes on the internet you could call it jaundice, if a person's symptoms were described to you, you could suggest a case of schizophrenia tentatively, albeit no diagnosis is infallible.
having said that, people with these disorders rarely ever show up at hospitals, they are not sick as in sick, just they have dysfunctional personalities. they are seen more in courts, police counters, prisons, reform schools if it got to that. or they may just be found dead around the corner after crossing some vengeful individual.
l'm glad this is out in public now and people are stopping to search for answers, and many people have been sensitized about the gravity of parental responsibility. many people however are still hurt and confused from the harm they have received from a supposed loved one with a personality disorder.

Well maybe to her talking is a way for her to move past it...Maybe she will be able to get healing at the end of everything.

Snubish, your submissions have been good but the words in bold, I completely disagree with. Nobody should diagnose themselves from the Internet. Any sick person should see a doctor or a psychologist if it's a suspected mental illness.

You are right. I made the mistake of too quickly jumping into conclusions based on what I read on NL. I went through her blog yesterday and I don't know what to think about all of this anymore.

Did you read the blog? There is a lot more to it than age of consent. Besides age of consent is there for a reason. Also even if 13 year olds want to have intimate relations it does not make it acceptable or legal.
