Senate President Bukola Saraki has shown his happiness following the verdict of the court of appeal on his election. The Court of Appeal upheld his election as the lawmaker representing Kwara Central Senatorial District. The senator took to his Facebook page to share his good news. Delighted to hear Court of Appeal upheld my election as Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District.Thank you for all your support & prayers. Rest assured that I'm committed to making sure the 8th Senate is people oriented. https://web.facebook.com/bukola.saraki/posts/10153857613309962 2 Likes 1 Share

People oriented indeed. Like his father, Saraki prefers to give fish than teach people how to fish. Baba Oloye preferred giving kwarans food every Friday than building roads/giving qualitative education/world class hospital. You cannot give what you don't have. Saraki Jnr grew up in this environment and liked it. He is fast discovering though, that Nigeria is a bigger entity than kwara. All his antecedents shows a man who believe in the culture of elitism than pro masses consideration. It was his tenure, he wanted the Governors forum to produce the next president, now as Senate President, his eyes are on 2019/2023, but God will not allow it happen. Not forgetting his running down societe general bank, his wife scandal, handing over to his stooge in kwara, sponsoring social media act, deny it as much as he can. In the Senate, his culture of protectionism for the elite has already started, as Senate President, he created more standing committees than ever before just to maintain grip on power. As long as he gives the other senators committee chairman, maybe they will allow him. He cares only about himself, going against his party wishes. He is NO pro people, try as he may to spin the story. And his career will end in Senate. We are as nation cannot go back to those times, a few owned everything and drove past in convoy and we hailed them and their children. The likes of IBB, Atiku, and their Ilk prefer that lifestyle of master- slave. 2 Likes |
