You just concluded the matter.

SEUN is under influence of something big.. .very very Big.. .beyond his grasp or control.

It's just unfortunate he is Yoruba.. .they bow easily to presure.
that's how there behave like!

always seeking what will favour DEM.

this is a social network and no one has the right to impose BAN on someone's believe or thoughts.

I fear we are beginning to go back in the days of military and we are heading the way of North Korea.

You go ban tire na. So what happens to freedom of expression and beliefs? So Yorubas are free to aspire and promote their Odua beliefs and Hausas, Arewa but Igbos of course are to be banned to talk or aspire for their beliefs in Biafra. Highly disappointed in you Seun.

What stops you from coming up with a superior argument why they should remain in Nigeria? Why are you so scared to discuss Biafra? Must we all have the same line of thoughts or intellectual discourse? I reject being or tagged a zombie where a fellow man will dictate what I discuss.

I believe the time for the Ibos to move has come. If they don't feel the necessary support and love for Nigerians and vice versa, they should form their own country. I'd gladly welcome the idea. But it is imperative for me to point out a few facts. 1. Not all Nigerians hate Ibos, like me. 2. Not all Nigerians want the Ibos to go, but understand their decision. Reading Chimamanda's Half of a Yellow Sun and Chinua Achebe's There was a country opened my eyes to the sufferings of the Ibos that was never documented in the newspapers. Long live Biafra, Long live Nigeria. Btw, I'm a Yoruba boy from Ogun state. Onye m biafra. Agha Ajoka

Neutrality should have been your best suit. Any discourse can be tendered for a public forum. If the protest was illegal, your stance would have been logical, but it isn't. To cap it all, the Topic you used is infuriating. Anyways, it's your forum. Do what you deem best.

A very good decision by Seun. Seeing these biafran nonsense on this section is really horrid. You call Nigeria a zoo, fine, then why use a Zoo platform in making your biafra call?
The Biafran agitators should go and create either Biafráland forum or igboforum. Its as simple as that.

The move would have been better without the ban threat. Its an insult to the good igbo people,i am fully igbo but have tried to appeal to the conscience of my kinsmen in towing the path of peace. But now you have added salt to injury mr seun .Even Daesh uses Twitter ,tho its a bad group(not that i support them).

The rule should be modified to banning anyone that uses Nairaland in propagating the division of Nigeria, that way you appear neutral ,not singling the Pro-Biafra agitators out.Taking a stance in such a sensitive manner clearly portrays you as Authoritarian ,Anti-Igbo and a supressor of freedom to say the least.

Yoloba and their fear fear. Nairaland is a waste of time for me anyway.
People are responsible for their posts as stated in your disclaimer yet you are dictating to them what to discuss and what not to discuss.
If you keep surpressing people with opposing ideas and promoting yours only, soon this place will be yolobaland
fyi, Biafra doesnt need nairaland to stand

they threatened a zoo, but did you know what they meant by zoo

a zoo is a place where you have no rights

a zoo is a place where the minister of education children don't study in Nigeria

a zoo is a place that has millions of educated people but still fal for cheep gimmicks by politicians..

thats what they meant by zoo, oga, its was metaphorical..

Nigeria is a white man's project, there is nothing to be patriotic about it

Fellow Nairalanders,

Nairaland loves Igbos and Niger Deltans very much. The thought of being separated from them for any reason is unbearable to us, so we have decided that we will reject any attempt by anyone to use Nairaland to promote the idea of removing Igbos and Niger Deltans from Nigeria.

We have updated rule 9 of Nairaland to reflect this decision. It now says:

I'd like to urge all Nairaland members to respect and obey rule 9. Mynd44 is in charge of enforcing it. If you break this rule, you'll be banned.

Thanks,

For people who will think wisely, this is an opportunity to launch another forum that will match up with Nairaland. This is a piece of crappie called rule where people's freedom of speech is trampled on. I'm beginning to see Seun in another light.
Same thought on my mind, I will deactivate my NL account the moment a pro Nigeria Forum is created.

You are spot on! I had never bothered about the Biafra struggle all along. But what Seun did now has made the Biafra agitation even more popular on nairaland. Methinks I will start talking about Biafra now! Seun just reminded me.
Me too. I am an Igbo man from Delta state and although i have sympathy for the Biafran struggle, i have never been in support because i do not see it as the ultimate solution to our problem. But the vituperation and contempt of other tribes and this action by Seun has made me have a rethink. I'm never gonna be a fan of Kanu, but i will defend them here on nairaland.

The battle line is drawn!

I have never commented or have anything to say about the pro Biafra protest..
Someone should tell the classless soul that this is the age of ideals and a superior ideal/argument is what is needed in a situation like this.
