Typical nairaland behaviour... resorting to name-calling when you don't know what else to say.

Your blood was so hot that you didn't see that I said 'size' of my shoe.

I even said 'touche'.. acknowledging that you may have won the argument. But you didn't even try to understand it. Except of course you actually believe that Seun will go to Warri, in which case, my shoe size wins grin

You're telling me to be constructive.... Lol! I can't do this

okay na u don win....... where u dey stay lemme marry u instead of seun. favorite-holy grin

I don't understand what you mean by he doesn't own Nairaland anymore. As far as I know, he still owns it. We all are just here to drive traffic with our posts and everything. But at the end of the day, he kinda has the final say.

Freedom of speech on Nairaland? But there has never been complete freedom of speech here. Nairaland is more or less an autocratic site where mods are constantly deleting people's 'opinions' everyday. It is part of what you signed up for when you decided to be a registered member.

The funny thing is, I'm secretly gunning for biafra, for personal reasons. But the owner of the house has said he doesn't want it, so either abide by the rules or take the movement somewhere else
You're not agreeing simply because the owner says so, no! You're agreeing because you think so. Seems you're gradually changing your opinion now, but your initial point, to which I commented, says everything you think about this whole issue.

Seun is a failure in his agenda just like his yoruba brothers against the cause of Biafran actualisation.

I urge all Biafrans to always visit lindaikeji and pulse or naij to air ur views. Nairaland is no better than pulse

In as much as I don't pray for war /voilence,this is wrong on every level..Whatever happened to freedom of speech? U love igbos and Niger Deltans so much and u people can not let go? Dude Really

have you seen the hate that abounds on this forum because of tribal and secessionist tendencies?

that you love someone doesn't mean that you allow them turn your blog to hater conference.

freedom of speech? apart from the fact that no freedom is absolute anywhere in the world even USA, Nairaland isn't the only online forum. they wanna talk pure politics devoid of hatred, they are welcome, they wanna talk Biafra, then go elsewhere, owner's policy.

Hiissss out

The newly adopted Biafran, aside from gej, is Soyinka. The newest outcast of Biafra, aside from Ngige, Okorocha, Yerima, is Uwazuruike!

If any Togolese, even Shekau will support it, he will be promptly adopted and if the great Gburugburu (the originator/dreamer/visioner) will defer, he will become an instant outcast. He was once abandoned via a mere senatorial seat.

Mr. Seun. You are right to place a censure on Biafran activities on Nairaland. it was getting out of hand. good move.

But could I suggest a slight modification,

let the mods be the only ones to post news items about Biafra, after all they are news items and we will wanna know what's going on in that arena.

people can discuss, But once the discussion starts to be dragged in the mud with insults, curses and abuses, then the mods should close the thread immediately.

opinion articles on biafra should be totally banned.

making sense, rather than an outright ban, Seun should have told his Mods to be up and doing!!! as another poster analysed it, The Gas has leaking into the room for a long time.

Ethnic mud slinging, personal attacks, space booking, just passing tru...the list goes on.

on this thread alone the number of posters who have directed insults at seun and his ethnic heritage is astounding!!! Just because he made a descision on HIS site that they don't like/agree with!
I would respect them soo much more if they would state a counter opinion in a concise and articulate manner but after 30 plus pages what do we see? threats, personal attacks & ethnic mudslinging reigns supreme * sigh *

This is not about being a 'yoloba' guy or a 'Biafra', this is about being able to discuss issues and making our case with relevant points and facts in a RESPECTFUL manner.

Shalom.

article/rule 9 neednt b amended dis way. d xplicit menxn of an ethnic gruping in a rule maps it out 4 unnecesary publicity (cheap or patronizing). dis is recipe for ethnic cleansing na. rmbr d 'tutsi-hutu' fiasco in rwanda. of course there is freedom of speech & people should be allowed to voice their opinions without fear or censorship, but technically Nairaland is a cyber-Nigerian Territory -- to encourage fostering of an ideology that preaches division & disintegration of the state{Nigeria} would be reckless and to some certain degree be considered treason...seun could even be labelled a domestic terrorist...

Nigeria would only remain if we are allowed to talk and negotiate our differences .

Must we all have the same line of thoughts or intellectual discourse? I reject being or tagged a zombie where a fellow man will dictate what I discuss.

Fellow Nairalanders,

Nairaland loves Igbos and Niger Deltans very much. The thought of being separated from them for any reason is unbearable to us, so we have decided that we will reject any attempt by anyone to use Nairaland to promote the idea of removing Igbos and Niger Deltans from Nigeria.

We have updated rule 9 of Nairaland to reflect this decision. It now says:

I'd like to urge all Nairaland members to respect and obey rule 9. Mynd44 is in charge of enforcing it. If you break this rule, you'll be banned.

Thanks,

Some nairalanders don't know the effect of Nigeria disintegration. Big companies that has investment in Nigeria like Uniliver,Mtn,spdc etc.would not want Nigeria to breakup because they are the stakeholders. I don't blame this Biafra freedom fighters it all boils down to unemployment.

What arrogance!! This is an insult to every Igbo man whether dead or alive. You mean i cannot express myself freely on Nairaland because I’m Igbo and i support Biafra. Seun you're sick if you think you can insult the Igbo race and get away with it.

I believe in Biafra and it is my wish that my children live in a free country where they don’t have to build a tall wall around their house just to feel a sense of security.

It is my wish that my children enjoy uninterrupted power supply.
It is my wish that my children open the faucet and drink clean water.
It is my wish that they live happily and share equal opportunities with their counterparts.

You can enjoy your anti-Igbo Nairaland alone because i will not be a member of an anti-Igbo forum. HuangCheng wishes you well on your forum as I urge Ndi-Igbo to resist this insult and deactivate their accounts too, I’m out of here.
i bet this crazy nigga opened another account 10 minutes later after boredom finish hin life

Seun, you let this Biafran charade go on for too long.

Some have concluded that you let this forum go to the dogs the moment you allowed Eze Ndigbo of Nairaland and other ethnic agitations and affiliations become a staple on this forum.

I am glad you have finally put on your thinking cap.

Nairaland politics section should remain a forum to discuss patriotic issues, not a vehicle to propagate rebellion or anarchy.

Never surrender this ideal in the face of clannish posturing and pressure. You have made a patriotic decision and you must be steadfast with it.

Nairaland is for Nigeria.
