The first time Nigeria has a leader who truly meant for us the best, this budget will help our development even on 60% implementation. I smell seriousness therein.

Where does the 5k welfare package for 25 million Nigerians fit in in all of these. I expected to see 1.5 trillion naira as social welfare package for 25 million Nigerians.
Yeye government deceiving mumu people.

Re: A Breakdown Of Nigeria’s 2016 Budget by Nobody: 7:21pm On Dec 22, 2015
..just a question, why not benchmark it at $25 or conservative $20 per barrel since we know that for the long-term, Iraq will start pumping for export driving prices further down and the US has begun crude exports in earnest and we know Russia offers the cheapest to big buyers like China who have long expressed disinterest in sweet crude at our $38 per barrel. meanwhile.. can NNPC show us revenues from crude since June 2014? Are we still on 2m barrels per day and well under 3% of the Minimum 20m barrels per day we are supposed to be doing?

I expect the eggheads at the top have spent months coming up with this so I trust their expertise.. wait.. we have all trusted their expertise since 1999 when the Gulf-war windfall came. haaaaaAAH grin grin

Am interested in the revenue sources within the Non oil component that will generate 1.4trillion. I hope we are not banking on MTN fine and Dasuki recoverable.

The ministry of interior and interior are they different parastatals?Someone please enlighten me.

The projections for oil-based revenue in 2016 is realistic since below $30/barel oil will almost have zero production margin but i fear for the non-oil based revenue,it is simply over estimated to say the least(unless we experience a major hike in taxation and duties).

Borrowing almost 2trillion naira is a cause for concern since these loans will aggregate further making the nation debts rise(n/b this debt will be for just 2016 budgets with a possibility of same repeating itself for the next 4yrs(bout 8trillion in debt)).

Some key factors were not considered e.g FX ,force majeurs etc.

In all I wish them the very best in this budget implementation and hopefully Nigeria will rise .
