1. 11 lengths of Y16 rods N2,400 x 11 = N26,400 (additional for completion of parapet reinforcement)
2. 2 trips of sharp sand N8,000 x 2 = N16,000 (bought to be used to cast the parapet)
3. 2 trips of stone N21,000 x 2 = N42,000 (bought to be used for the parapet)
4. transport for rods N1,100
5. Additional masonry work in the front of the house N10,000

Total N95,500

Add these to the previous N4,532,091.00 and we have a new total of N4,627,591.00

I was thinking that the 3" pvc piping you use is for the upper floor toilets. But I observed that it extends further through the upper floor lintel and up. Is it for rain water? Can you also estimate exactly how many bags of cement was used for your decking? Thanks and God bless.

Sorry to derail but i live at ogombo,my mum sells cement too at 1450 now.Concerning the omonile ish,could you be specific? Most are dishonest,selling to multiple persons but my mum is close to them

I have a plot at Ogombo Lagos in the relatively dry part and because omonile have been giving me issues lately, I want to secure it more with building the cheapest 2 units of 1bedroom miniflats..... The quote I received was ridiculous... it even cost more than the cost you have what you have spent for your duplex....

Please can anyone who have built one in the past give me a range of what it could cost? I am building the cheapest possible just to secure the land... not trying to spend too much again...

I have not sat down and counted all those materials used, and apart from speaking with my several workers who did the works and confirming the balance in the store, I may not know the right quantities used.

It will be an average of 120 bags of cement and 30 Y 16, 80 Y 12 and 40 Y8. Excluding the parapet fascia. Remember, this might not be the exact quantities for my house.

Yes , you can get sand as cheap as that in many parts of Enugu.
