So I was in a colleague's car after work, myself, a male Colleague and the car's owner(female). We were peacefully heading home When this guy answered a phone call which lasted over 15 Minutes and left him pissed. Out of rage, he told us this funny, annoying and permit me to say Stüpid story. His cousin met dis gal whom he liked instantly. They got talking somehow and he discovered from the girl that she graduated from COE nassarawa and was currently an undergraduate at university of Agriculture Makurdi. He asked the girl out and she agreed. And gbam!!! The girl wants to get married. She pressurised him until he agreed. Barely 3 months to their meeting, they were ready to tie the knot. The funniest part is that this gal insisted that he must buy all her friends' attire which costed nothing less than 12k each and The guy agreed. She also insisted that 2 cows must slaughtered for the wedding; one to be used at the bachelor eve and the other on the D-Day, the guy said OK. She also said that her VIP cannot eat beef that turkeys must be slaughtered. The guy didn't complain. This guy spent virtually everything he had, even sold one of his cars (a taxi he gave on hire n abuja) and also incurred a debt of about 500K just to make the wedding a success. The wedding took place on the 5th of December last year. On the 22ndof the same month, the girl told her husband she had to travel back to Makurdi where she had a saloon that her customers were calling her and it will help them to make more money since it was Christmas season. This guy concurred. Only for this gal to go back and start living with her boyfriend. Her younger sister found out and informed the husband. Only for him to come and confirm the story. The heart broken husband went to the priest that joined them together to complain. When the priest Summoned The girl, she said, "I can't continue staying with that broke âss guy, he's even owing people when will he pay up and start taking Care or me?" After the incident the guy was disoriented. They also found out that the even never even finished secondary self. This got me wondering, who do we blame? Wasn't the handwriting on the wall very clear to d guy? Abi is love that blind? |
