Good Morning everyone! Please are documents suppose to be strictly PDFs and how can I merge files together so as to upload them as one? Thank you.

Open MS Word, paste each scan on specific pages... For instance, copy and paste your scanned passport in to the Word opened and edit appropriately.

Click enter on your keyboard to enter the next page, there you paste your next document; continue to paste each document on different pages, edit appropriately

Click on 'save as'; a dialogue box pops just at the right; scroll down to PDF and click. Name file accordingly, for instance 'supporting documents' and click publish. Your PDF is automatically created and saved in your default store except you selected other destination.

I don't know if all document has to be in PDF, but I am certain PDF files aren't easily altered. Except it is converted to word, edited and reconverted to PDF; something I don't think CIC would do.

@Shodexy, the OINP site is opening.

@JesusDWay, it's good to have you back; welcome!

@Justwise, thank you.
Cheers!

I would recommend you keep them in pdf. I don't trust ms word as it's easily damaged/corrupted. You can also use a pdf merger. You can get them on the internet.

If you are having issues with the link to register your Quebec online account to be able to apply on Monday 25th, use the below link instead:

https://mondossiercitoyen.gouv.qc.ca/General/index.aspx

Also, the MPNP 2016 Exploratory Visit Route is now open, send your resume and copy of your IELTS to mpnpexploratoryvisit@gov.mb.ca and you may include a little message saying you are interested in their Exploratory Visit programme. For more information, go to their website - www.immigratemanitoba.com

Hello,

Please I need your advise.

How reliable is this site " https://www.canadavisa.com/comprehensive-ranking-score-calculator.html" in assessing my CRS scores cos when I keyed in all necessary details with my current score age and qualification I got a score of 422, so I adjusted my IELTS score for writing test which was a CLB8 , to a CLB 9 and my scored jumped from 418 to 475 so.....I'm thinking I should rewrite the IELTS... so I can achieve this score, my 30th birthday is coming up soon and I know I will loose only 5 points for that so I should still remain on 470... I practically forced hubby to write IELTS and he performed above my expectation.

Please advise.

Please advise me. Thanks.

Calculate your scores here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.aspThis is more reliable link as it is directly from CIC.

However, it is true that your score can increase by 50-60 with just 0.5 difference in any of the modules. You might want to retake IELTS. If you max out on your scores and get 470, you are sure of getting an ITA without having to go through the PNP hurdle.

Thanks for the prompt response.

I have another question.

Since WES will assess ACCA as a 3 year degree and HND as a BSC equivalent , on the CRS score simulation can I fill my educational qualification as

1. two or more certificate Diploma's of degree one must be a program of 3 or more years
or
2 Bachelor's degree 3 or more year program.

Thanks

I have just assessed my score using the website you sent. and it puts me at a score of 468, provided my qualification is two diplomas or more .

Please advise.

I found the HND WES evaluation posted by someone on this site

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/fsw-2014-applicants-from-nigeria-lets-network-t202722.870.

its assessed as 3 year Diploma and post graduate certificate which is good news for me.

This and ACCA should fetch be a high score.

No chance. You are required to have at least one year post-secondary qualification and even at that, it still may not be sufficient. You should ideally have a first degree or, if you have ND, your IELTS score will need to be very high and it may be necessary you have family connection. I'll suggest you find another route like going to school there, as a means of migrating eventually

Your ACCA won't count anymore, HND is already evaluated as 2 Certificates, higher than a Bachelors which ACCA is evaluated to be. Your ACCA however comes in handy in getting CPA, it's Canadian equivalent, which certifies you to practice as an Accountant over there(I at least have heard of provinces like BC and Manitoba I think)

Good day house. i am new to this forum and would like information regarding express entry.

To start with, do a 3yr Bachelor's Degree in Performing Arts (unilorin), and then a short Certificate Course in Directing for the Screen (NFI Jos) qualify as 2 or more certificates? Considering the fact that the latter was taken after the degree and it is practice based.

Sorry for late response. To pick up your passport from AVO you need to give a courier (I used DHL) mandate to pick it up. DHL will request for the pick up mail from AVO and a letter of authorization from you.

Lol @ Mr Do good.....I am still here....
