^^^ How did you arrive at 70 points?
The embassy in Pretoria does not handle PR applications. They are taken care of by immigration staffs in Australia.
You basically need the documents you will submit for assessment.
Have you done English test?
What occupation did you nominate?

Yes I have done my English test with a overall score of 7.5.
Had L7.5, R7.5, S8.0, W7.0.
My nominated occupation is Computer Network & System Engineer.

See the break down of my points to make 70
Age - 32 score 30 points
English - ielts 7 proficient - 10 points
Work experience - 9 years - 15 points
Education - Bachelor of Technology - 15 points.

That's the breakdown.

Please house I need information from experienced PR holders how they went about submitting their visa procedure.

Thanks

Your age is on the border, if you cross it before being invited, it will reduce to 25points.

Your first step now is to get your assessment done with ACS. Once you get a positive assessment, proceed to fill an expression of interest on Border Force's website and wait till you are invited to apply for PR

That is all you need. No other procedure needed. Get through ACS first, then you are you about 70% done.

You trying a third time won't look anyhow, the only way it looks to every reasonable person in Pretoria is that u r a fighter! Get ur genuine sponsor, revamp you documents and give your visa application another shot! With God on ur side he is the chief Case Officer, the Consular-general of all.[/quote] bro u boosted my moral but ryt. Now my school professor wants to be my sponsor so is my association should I list them both?

They will deduct your years of experience than approximate.

Though depends on the body but most deduct between one to two years.

Get your degree and work experience assessed by ACS (Australian Computer Society). Subsequently, submit an expression of interest on skill select platform and wait for an INVITATION to lodge your visa.

One thing though, your score may not hit 70 because ACS introduced a term called deeming year 2-3 years ago. ACS assesses your degree base on the number of relevant courses on your transcript. If your degree is found to be closely related to your chosen occupation and considered ICT major, you forfeit 2 years out of your work experience. If considered ICT minor, you forfeit 4-5 years.

Read up on ACS assessment for migration.

Your Bachelor degree is in what?

Your Bachelor degree is in what?
My bachelor degree B.Tech computer Science.
One more clarification, when I check through the SOL, I discovered that Telecommunication network engineer role best describes my work experience 95%, but the assessing authority is EA, I called to find out since my bachelor is not in engineering, they emailed me to send my CV and transcript which I did and they later replied me that they cannot access me that I should try ACS. But the only code that describes my job experience 60% as accessed by ACS is computer network and system engineer. I have sent ACS an email also to clarify if they are the right body to assess me.

I am also aware of the 2 or 4 years deduction by ACS

Please all IT gurus in the house. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.

Thanks irondome, I have been reading so much on the ACS and I am aware of the 2- 4 years deduction.

I wanted to pay for the ACS assessment today but I can't use my credit card due to the new CBN policy.

Pls anyone with useful idea on how to make online payments now.

Thanks

As you had been rightly advised by EA, they cannot assess your qualification. The best thing to do is to approach ACS and make sure you support your application with enough supporting documents. Your experience must reflect what it is expected form the occupation you are nominating. I can assure you that you would get positive assessment outcome from ACS with about 2years reduction in your years of experience which will still earn you 10points at least in experience. Your points will still be more than enough to get invitation for 189 visa. Congrats, you have an impressive points.

I do not see that as an issue provided there is sufficient fund in the accounts.

Google search for a backpacker in the area you are going. Book for maximum of a week. During that week, you should get a good place.

Use Gumtree or flatmates to look for shared house.

Congrats to everyone who's obtained their visa recently and those who have come in already. I just want to give you guys a reality check. Please remain as focused as you have been during your visa journey. Because in reality getting that visa was actually the easy part. There are lots of unknowns in the coming months but dont loose hope if things dont take off for you immediately. You will surely settle in. Of outermost concern to me is rate at which boys are getting comfortable with street hussle. Please start positioning your selves to key into some opportunities others have taken for granted. Please endevour to obtain professional australian experience in your field before you graduate if you can. It could be the deal breaker if you get that graduate role after studies. In all honesty masters here is just a name tag as experience is 100times more valuable " not bluffing". For now do what you have to do to survive and pay fees but dont shot yourself in the foot by not appropriately positioning yourself for life afterwards. It is well wish you guys all the best. Welcome. Ne-wayz Anyone coming to brizzy should feel free to holla @ me if they need heads up or a better perspective.
