I understand how irritating that can be. My boyfriend was just like that, I recorded the sound and played it to him...it took a while but it solved the problem.

I freaking hate that noise. It puts me off eating the food. Say the way it is. It is bad table manners, it will only embarrass her in public and yourself.

Eeeeeeewwwww! Slurpy noise,licking and blowing nose while eating. I don't like one of my friend has the same bad habit one day i told him nan! You eat like a dog! And you make m e sick. These is why i don't accept edibles from you and try closing your mouth when eating. After that day it stopped although he was annoyed and embarassed at first but he realised i was being honest ultimately and apologised.

Man! You need to tell her, bad table manner is embarassing. Be honest and tell her.

You know I had this problem and I knew it would irk the person to be direct but you will have to.

What I did was to first create an enabling atmosphere and tell her I wanted to say something important and she should not take any offense; also, I'd understand if she did not agree (na lie o).

That person today corrects others! It's just ignorance (or upbringing) as far as I'm concerned.

Look for an article on Internet on table manners or eating manners, sit with the person and pretend that you are trying to teach yourself from that article...jokingly tell the person that many people don't eat right including youself.
I have a beautiful lady friend that has slight mouth odour, I always walk around with this mint gum, I take one myself and give her one then tell her my mouth smells if I close it for too long. After a while she started buying the mint and offering me one then she takes one. Problem solved

Chewing and slurping noises are bad table manners,and you owe her to correct her before she embarrasses herself in the public. I don't think there should be a special way of making this correction.You know her better thus you should know how to reach out and tell her the gospel truth.
However I think you should gentle remind her how she's a lady and how ladies shouldn't chew/drink noisily. Let her know you know she wouldn't chew like that outside but that the noise doesn't go down well with you so you would want to hear to chew alike whether in the public or at home or wherever.
O Na own with public self. as the public go recognize u for chewing well or eating in a right manner. Abeg just tell him openly. pls have u ever notice the sound wen u chew, there u cud go ahead with d tutorial and discussion!! easy, right??

Just mimick her and see how she reacts to how disgusting it sounds. You can even overdo it.
