The computer science dept in Laspotech was fully built by PTF and so were other major projects in the school then.
PTF really tried, wish it was still alive..

I thought you people said he didn't even fart in the SE using PTF, how come we now have a "decommissioned" PTF truck in a state in the SE??

Oooh, lemme guess, it was used in the North and transported as "decommissioned" scrap metal back to the SE to be used for APC "propaganda".

Bunch of hypocrites.

Hmmmmmmm

Sometimes when you know the truth but hardened your heart against being set free by it, little things, like this retired ENTRACO bus, will always surface to highlight ones foolishness.

In the run up to the presidential election, PTF in SE came up for discussion and surprisingly most respondents from SE denied PTF ever did anything there. Kenai and Collynzo wailed the most abusing whoever that dare says otherwise. I found out both of them were absentee natives.

I utilized many of the facilities provided by PTF both as a student and a worker while in SE. Truth, they say, will always surface even if said in the deep of Mariana trench.

At least there were buses. Which one did Buhari do? Did you see the state of the bus in the picture?

Holl up, what year are we

Abacha died in 1998, if you can take your head out of your nether region to do a simple arithmetic of how many years ago that was, you'd be able to understand why the bus is in that state, considering the poor maintainance culture of black Africans!!!!!

Hating someone does not detract from his legacy but you won't be able to know that as it's all that gives you oxygen & momentum to persevere after the declaration of April 1st 2015 that so destabilize you people!! cool

Unless we want to lie as usual to ourselves because of hatred and sycophancy, there is no university, poly or anyother tertiary institution that doesn't have a PTF project, either in learning facilities, transport,or hostels.
Even some hospitals still have some equipment and other medical disposables that bear the PTF logo.
It's because of what abacha did through Buhari with the PTF that it's still astonishing to some that he stole some much, yet despite that, and inspite of moderate oil price levels, still achieved that much.
Compare all that to someone and u see why many feel he was a curse on us.

My 100level class, FLT (Faculty of Sciences) in UI was fully renovated by PTF, minus other projects within the school.

Our school buses were PTF buses.

Roads constructed under PTF are still standing till today.

A lot of hospitals had everything supplied by PTF.

What exactly was the achievement of Sure-P apart from all the buses Jonathan bought for those Igbo transporters courtesy Madam World Bank.
sure-P is mostly for human building capacity, Company that need your course of study, employs you so you can be able to get more experience on your field of study. like in abia state the government paid us 30k+the little stipend the organization will add for you. but in river state, St Amechi used theirs to sponsor st Buhari therefore I never heard much about sure-P in river state. Above all policy formulation and implementation is never Nigeria's problem, it is Just Continuity/Sustainability and Maintainance

PTF is one of the greatest thing that happens to Nigeria. On education, many building and classrooms use today in most public schools are PTF initiative. On educational and instructional materials/tools, it makes a great impact at least in the community I grew up in. PTF force the public secondary school in the community to build a library, intro tech laboratory and upgrade the Physics and Chemistry lab as the store cannot contain them again. I remember that PTF subsided textbook flood many bookshop mostly recommended textbooks.

One thing I know is that, an hater can never see anything good in the hated even if the heaven testified to the goodness.

As far as I'm concerned, the typical hausa-fulani man does not like an igbo man but if there is any special hatred or bias buhari has for igbos today, it is as a direct result of the way the SE has been treating him since the pre and post 2011 and 2015 election era all because of GEJ. It is high time the SE realises that elections are over now and that GEJ is no more; this is the time to go back and attend to our businesses and forget this buhari matter because buhari will not even be president forever.

The whole talk about buhari's PTF marginalising SE or any region at all or favouring the north is absolute foolishness and falsehood. I can beat my chest and say buhati did not harbor any particular hatred for igbos especially when he picked igbo running mates in 2003 and 2007. All these allegations and counter allegations are just GEJ sentiments stemming from 2015 elections.

But it suits the narrative of the "We hate Buhari (& all northerners) crew" if nothing of his legacy can be found or highlighted!!

Igbos don't do heard mentality
Igbos don't do flock mentality
Everybody won't like buhari
Everybody never liked Jesus
Everybody never like Muhammed
Everybody never liked budha

So buhari is just a mortal and he will be opposed and igbos are doing that job perfectly

The beauty of opposition is democracy

Now how is your kunu sipping gworo chewing god faring ...is he back in the country
Has he given you the 5k monthly promised
Has he made fuel 40 naira
Gas he technically defeated boko haram
Has he brought back chibok girls
Has he made dollar at par with naira
Has he balanced the governance in terms of age and tribes
Has he put square oegs in square holes

Has he....so many things

You must understand that there is opposition. And igbo are doing that

Do igbos even give a damn I doubt that

U can never convince someone who has made a conscious decision not to see anything good in you. Imagine someone saying the bus is not functional, is it ptf that will maintain the bus for you. So, if I am generous enough to set up a business for you, you still expect me to mange it for you abi, it is this same sense of entitlement that has held you down for years, just continue ehn.

FYI, there are ptf buses that are still very functional today, at least I know of several higher institutions. Also classrooms and even clinics, those that are lucky to have good management tho.

He forgot PTF is in the 90's. PTF bought that bus in1997 or 1998.

Hmmmmmmmnn....the support and positive response still shows how gullible NG are,1ith due respect to all..If a project was from start concieved to connive some personnels through which you steal money and cover up for it with the aim of touching life as a "LIABILITY in quote" and the other concieved project was for sustainability of continous growth both in economy _for both now and future generations and u argue that fact then..#IRestMyCase...I seek a NG that doesn't see spending on Liability as a pride or gain but viable investment that enhances others...Your dad both car,bed (sheet, repaired dilapidated buildings,) and My dad Gave me a trade,a skill,a potential enterpreneur..a viable economy is built with a legacy that affects millions of life..I'd always remain grateful of my dad's project..#AWordIsEnoughForTheWise...

NG of Liabilities_perishable Items that consume for maintenance if what we have today.

I,Myself & MYself & Myself alone look ahead to a NG that looks beyond and ahead of Liabilities like cars, roads, bed sheet, reparing of dilapidated buildings that are now dilapidated again for OAU, but to a genuine mindset of leveraging on Policies, education, enterprenueral skills as assets ...Permit me to use the word..#CommonSense@BenBruce

Abacha's government remains a mystery with his PTF and FSP projects. My younger ones went to his FSP school in Port Harcourt. School fees, Uniforms, Books free. The school was also beautiful.

President Abacha tried for a man who sold Crude at about $12 a Barrel. Increased our foreign reserves and paid some of our foreign debts.

Compared to a man who sold Crude at $100 a barrel, foreign reserves went down, foreign debt increased and no direct effect of his SURE-P.
