In our supporting documents, my university degree certificate, UK Naric certificate which I used as prove of English, TB certificate, call log print out, WhatsApp chat history over 200pages and some other documents were not returned to him.
I have visited him before in the UK before our marriage,
Please my good people what those this indicate?
Will I receive the remaining documents here because we sent all the documents together in one envelop.
Ones I pick it will let you know what I have.

Your application has been declined. Your hubby's documents would be returned to him.
Once rejection letter is received, act on content(s) of rejection.

Wait until you pick up the refusal letter everything will be explained there and you will be given the right to appeal or make changes and reapply

It can be turned down due to a number of factors. I could speculate a lot of reasons.
I fully understand the tension presently, but it's best to wait for the letter stating reasons of rejection, then you can act accordingly.
The appeal route is an option, but await letter. So you don't carry the cart before the horse!!!

It is a known fact that documents are normally lost or misplaced, by the tea and coffee drinking incompetent gangs at the ECO.
Send an email listing missing documents and inquire about said documents.

I am very sorry about this, but it sound like your application was refused. Just stay calm till you pick up your passport next week, then you can know their reason for refusal.

HO always return proof of English and TB test directly to the applicant with his/her passport and their decision. So you will get your degree cert+UK NARIC letter and will also get your TB cert.

The other docs they didn't return you won't recieve. You can request return of those docs if they can't be easily reproduced and needed for your appeal or reapplication.

You can use their contact Center in the first instance using this link https://ukvi-international.faq-help.com . You can also write to the address the original application was posted to . Add your VAF and GW numbers and your details, address it FAO the ECO that handled the application (the initials you will find in the refusal letter).Use a recorded service and also include a prepaid return envelope. Ur sponsor in uk can actually do this on your behalf

When did you do the online application, when did you spouse do the biometrics and when did you submit your supporting documents. If you don't mind me asking.

My spouse did her biometrics on the 6th of January with supporting documents sent the following week and I'm yet to receive any new information apart from its still being processed.

Please I need some advice. I am about to complete the online form but have not done my TB test. I plan to do the test when I get to Abuja for my biometrics and then submit it there. Am worried if the home office may say that my TB test should be dated before my online application. Please can anyone help me with answers.

Again, I am seven weeks pregnant. I don't know how this can affect my tb testing. Has anyone heard of someone that did the test at this stage?

Hi, I wouldnt advice you to do it like that. TB tests mainly consists of a chest x-ray then a sputum test if the CXR is inconclusive or in case of not being able to have a CXR for any medical reasons like your case:Being pregnant. Now being a radiographer i can tell you that the radiation dose from a CXR is minimal, BUT being in ur 1st trimester its not advisable to have an xray while pregnant cz its likely to affect ur baby at that stage. Idk what the rules are in Nigeria.. but in the UK the its the patient's/your choice whether u want the xray to make it quicker. Cz the sputum test takes something like 6 weeks i believe. Sarrah x

Bear in mind that the 1st trimester is 1st-12th week. Which means according to this that 7 cant have the x-ray at your stage.. then again it comes back to you.. what u want/prefer really. Hope that helps x

1)communication (that we provided only one year communication evidence whereas we have known for more than 5years, that apart from my wedding pictures they are not clear when those other pictures I sent were taken. That hubby has didn't give reason why he has not visited Nigeria after the wedding in January lol( hubby just got settled this 2015, he was facing he own settlement which he got with out stress).

2) no letter from land and

3)account (hubby is self employed).

I sent pictures we took at the UK but I didn't send my flight ticket but my passport page has the stamp of the entry date and the day I left,

We only forwarded our chat from January to December 2015, we have emails we have been sending since 2009 but did not include them.

I don't understand the account part but I know that hubby made more £18,600

Now hubby want to appeal and contest the decision while we plan to reapply,

My question now is can one make an appeal and still reapply at some point or do you have to wait until appeal is over before you reapply if you are not successful.

I want to be able to make the best decision as to which option to take either to reapply or appeal.

Can we send other documents like email, flight ticket, letter from land Lord and others during appeal.

All documents were returned completely.

You can submit a fresh application and also appeal same time. If you are appealing you might as well wait till the deadline of the initial appeal stage to see if ECO overturns decision. (they can , where they hv made a mistake). You will have to submit all your documents including new evidence/missing supporting docs with your appeal. In my opinion , based on your reasons for refusal, you stand better chance with a fresh application.
Produce as much evidence as possible, check thoroughly that you have covered every requirement and more , leaving no room for refusal. If you stated that you have been in a relationship/marriage for 5 years , back it up with evidence. Yes there are travel stamps in passports, make reference to that in your cover letter. Don't think ECO will figure it out. The landlords letter was a clear requirement , read the requirements carefully and check you supplied all evidence. The key thing is evidence. Address any possible concerns that might arise in a cover letter. Ask your hubby to check the docs he produced for his self employment to ensure it meets the HO requirement?. Pictures are best labelled , that way the person looking at it can see when and where it was taken and individuals in the photo. ECO wants to see evidence covering the entire period of relationship. If you are reapplying , ensure you address their concern over your hubby not visiting you after your wedding . You might actually think about meeting before lodging another application. Your hubby should also submit copied of entry and exit stamps on his passport. There are various posts from people listing docs they hv submitted on this forum. All the best

I think appealing will be time and money wasting because your application was not well thought out.

You did not submit enough material to support your relationship/marriage.

1.You need to submit dated pictures and not edited ones as many as you can, not just current ones.

2. Submit emails, chats, text, call logs from as far back as 2009.

3. If your hubby is self employed then he needs to do his tax assessment and get tac certificate to attach to your next application.

I would advice appeal with extenuating circumstances. Has hubby is self employed, I hope all his taxation affairs are in order?
Has justwise stated, your application was done in a hush-hush manner.
Use this intervening period to gather all the required documents.
Once all documents are gathered, read through thread of successful applicants and compare and contrast.

Yes I did but I am a little bit apprehensive Of not meeting the accommodation requirements as my landlord is responsible for the bills. I had a letter from the landlord, pictures of the floor plan as well as an independent property inspection report. However I have not provided any utility bills or council tax as they are all inclusive. I am just worried that might constitute a huge evidence gap.
