So you think FBNH cannot report a loss?

It is very obvious. They can not report a loss for FY 2015. You may ask me why.
1. The last press release said they will discuss dividend payment. A loss making company will not even consider dividend payment.
2. Their profit warning said that FY PAT was materially lower than for 2014. It didn't say there was no profit at all.
3. Q3 results tells the whole story.

FBNH can decide to declare 5 kobo dividend if they want but they will not declare a loss.

You know what I'll type next....... This is not a buy or sell recommendation cheesy

U never can tell. Stock MKT has no formula.
Before I entered stock market (pre - melt down) , I read in one of the stock newspapers (we really had newspapers like that ) that it is better to sell a day or 2 b4 close of register as price are bound to reverse after mark down. The reason being that after mark down, there will be too Much supply and price will go down.

This is not always d case these days. There are some stocks that the price will not reverse after mark down. I think the best way to know this stocks is to consider 2years or more trend. There are some stocks DT will continue to defy all permutation and logic. These are ones controlled by some big boys and we know them. They determine when the price should fall and when it shld go high.

I trade also opened our eyes. The market makers most times, have d final say on the price a stock should trade. You then have to find a way to align with them if they are very active in the stocks you have interest on.

Closure was 03 March, SP marked down & closed N98.2
Traded sideways after and a bullish momentum kicked in on d 17th, SP crossed N100 and kept d momentum till yesterday closing at N117.7 way above pre-closure date.

Adjustment of price for dividend(mark down date) has never been done on the qualification date! Mark down date(that is,the first day of closure of register when it is more than 1 day) is always a trading day immediately after the qualification date.

I think I mixed up qualification day with closure day. I was referring to the closure of register in my example
