fear not, your allowance is not dependent on any oufit/consulting firm, they pay state by state. (simply put, is dependent on available funds) find out if others in the same venue has received, if they haven't then relax it would be paid. i have not been paid either(Abia)

Hope you are sure of this? In my state, many have been paid but some are yet to be paid. If it is being paid alphabetically, then it is assumed that Abia people have been paid. I advise that you pressure your employer to make a case for you to GIS.

please, will NITDA take in the trainees automatically after the one year internship training and how much are they going to pay during this training. Kindly reply asap

if you have a job worth 150k/month, i'l advice you to stick to it rather than coming for GIS cos they only paid 30K/month and payment isnt consistent. Excpet its NITDA that signed agreement to employ over 600 youths but i cant tell if their offer will be for a year or permanent. Gather your information well before taking actions. Good luck.

It's actually NITDA, but I wanted to be sure what's they've for to offer before I make my decision. I've been invited to start already after undergoing their screening exercise. Anyone with tangible information about NITDA GIS offer should pls advice. Thanks

you are 100% free to ask your boss or the NITDA if the job is permanent before you decide, pls dont resign your 150k pay cos GIS is only 30k.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN GIS



THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS CONSTITUTE THE OPERATIONAL POLICY OF GIS. INTERNS MUST AGREE TO THESE CONDITIONS AFTER COMPLETING THE FORM TO BECOME AND REMAIN INTERNS ON THE SCHEME



1. Interns MUST complete their online timesheet for the number of days worked between the 1st and 5th of every month for work done the previous month
2. Interns MUST ensure that their employers approve their online timesheets between the 1st and 10th of the month
3. Non-submission of online timesheet by interns for any month means that the intern did not work for that month.
4. Non-approval of submitted timesheet by employer for any month means that the intern did not work for that month.
5. GIS will not process backlog payment for any period where timesheets were neither submitted by intern nor approved by the employer
6. Interns that do not show commitment to their employer and demonstrate consistent poor performance and conduct will be delisted from the scheme
7. Interns that do not adhere to the internal policies of their employers will be delisted from the scheme
8. Interns must complete daily attendance record in their place of employment
9. Interns must ensure the confidentiality of trade (business) secrets, and sensitive information of their employers.
10. Interns MUST be available for evaluation by GIS staff and its representative whenever required.

It depends on the nature of your current job but pls dont leave your current job because of GIS rather you can run both together if your GIS employer understands your explanation.
